Sweet monsters! Im not trying to derail a thread.... but since this one already did on the size issue I have a question for you guys.
Its known that smaller mushrooms are more potent, but its also said to wait till the veil is just starting to tear for best results. How big were those before the veil tore? If I didnt want huge shrooms and the veil hadnt torn yet when they got to the size I wanted is there any down side or anything?
I'm still just a noobie and currently looking at my first clusters gaining in size as I type! But that is something I was curious about.

picking before the veil drops or after the veil drops is all about preference. if you wait till after they drop then they get a little bigger but they also make a mess. they taste shittier with spores all over them to but cubes aren't exactly consumed for there flavor. in short, it's completely up to the cultivator.

i like closed caps myself but sometimes life gets in the way and you find a bunch of em that pooped everywhere

I like strains that make larger fruits and sporulate late. John allen strain reminds me of these burmas.
