I'd suggest Cortinariaceae family.

That's my hunch as well.

Gill shots of the remaining ones would be helpful.

The remaining ones have been preliminary identified as Marasmius oreades (#4), Lactarius camphoratus (#5), and Gymnopus dryophilus (#6).

That last pic is for the sake of showing variation in the fruit bodies of the unidentified specimen (i.e., #7).

Check my edit in the previous post - seeing the group I believe it is possibly an Armillaria species, if there is possibility of buried wood in the area. Looks suspiciously like the ones found in this observation on MO.

Oh ok thanks Byrain, Psathyrella longistriata is a western species.

10 is pretty interesting, any spore color?

:whathesaid:

Could it be a Pholiotina sp.? Features are suggestive but a color neutral picture would help.

#9 looks like a Flammulaster sp.

Some cool finds here!

It could be a Pholiotina, I think I can see rusty brown colors on some of the gills. What about Descolea? Is a color neutral photo without flash or is it something more specific? Unfortunately I don't have any more pictures.
9 does look like a Flammulaster species cool!!
Thank you Anglerfish I'll look into these more.

I'm not sure about Armillaria. The mushrooms were not growing in cespitose clusters (I just placed the solitary speciments together in that picture). As far as I recall, they were growing at least one meter apart.

I can't really (dis)confirm the possibility of buried wood.

I know next to nothing about Descolea other than that it is in Cortinariaceae, and I can
only find online info on finds in the Southern Hemisphere. Are you situated there?

Maybe I expressed it awkwardly - I should perhaps have said "more even light" - or perhaps
"better lighting". Dark forest settings like that often requires creative use of artificial light.

#3 in the OP looks like an Entoloma.

Oh your right Descolea is a southern Genus, I guess that is ruled out as I am in Northwestern Ontario.

Better and even lighting... Hmmm is it safe to say natural lighting also.

You probably already know the site, but mycoquebec.org is nice with
good pictures and micrographs for a lot of species that might also be
relevant for your region, at least in part I guess.
