Of course. I forget the restrictions but you can also check out the grow logs sub section once/if you are able to.

so is there a way to move this threat to the grow logs? so it isn't interfering with the mushroom cultivation section?

You're fine, no worries. A lot of people actually log them here because of the higher traffic.
If you want to keep documentation, log it here, and then create it's own thread in the grow logs. If you want me to move it however, I will, just let me know.

For documentation purposes I personally liked to edit my first post, and just bump my thread.
Best of luck.

Reply to your thread, it "bumps" it to the top. Edit your first post with updated info(I dated everything), save the edited post, and then reply with "Update: *Insert update"

update is on first post. have a quick question. would it be better to shake it lightly now or just let it set? its been 11 days since inoculation.

i like to only shake once at 30% but some ppl shake twice at like 10%-15% and then again at maybe 50%. its up to you, u can shake now or wait.
i shake once so that i don't have to continually wait for the myc to recover.

that makes sense. that is what i was thinking seeing how if i shake it the myc will colonize slower. and another question when i get to fruiting can it be around the 96-99% humidity for casing? im thinking ill just have to fan it every day. i dont have the tools yet to do a FAE airpump tek.

well the myc won't colonize slower per se, shaking helps disperse the colonized grain, spread them out so that (after recovery) it colonizes the jar faster. yea that RH is fine for casing, def fan though. I still don't have an air pump, i'd say most do not, unless they have a greenhouse/martha thing going. don't worry bout air pumps man unless ur going for a weird PMP or something like that

Do I need to drill a couple holes so co2 can escape during the non fanning time? Like lower where the co2 would be?

in the fruiting chamber you mean? yes you should have many holes. you will want what is called an SGFC (Shot Gun Fruiting Chamber) here is a link for it (don't mind the BRF cakes, u can use the same fruiting chamber)
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/15223324
go a bit down the tek and u will see "Procedure: Building the Shot Gun fruiting chamber"
This site actually has a lot of useful information. RogerRabbit, the poster, trusted cultivator, and moderator, owns the site and developed the video series "Lets Grow Mushrooms" and i highly suggest buying it, its only 8.99$ for downloadable version, it will help you for years to come with anything mushrooms, cakes, grains, casings, wood lovers, etc. For building the SGFC, you want to look at and watch "BRF/PF tek" part 3
essentially get a 66qt tote, or smaller in ur case (I don't know how big ur tray/casing will be) and drill holes in it in a GRID patter every two inches or so in ALL ^ SIDES, top bottom included. Then put 3-4 inches MOIST perlite in the bottom. the passive air flow of the room will help wick moisture up from surface of perlite rock into the chamber and help with FAE. U will need to mist 3-4 times a day, spending on ur conditions, as well as fan that many times or a couple more. I still use them (mini versions) to this day. I modify them quite a bit, but please do it by the TEK at first, so u can get a handle on it, and ur personal growing environment (RH in room ,temp, air flow, etc) this is a mini one i built to house cakes a while back with the lid off. u would just put the tray in the middle instead of cakes

I grew this out in an SGFC it was actually my first bulk attempt and the SGFC worked AWESOME! just a tray on top of the perlite. the lid was taken off for pictures
