Anybody else get super strong HPPD after drinking coffee?
Only happens for a few days after I trip.

I don't really notice it as much when I drink caffine, but definitely after smoking some erb, or if I'm exhausted/not quite awake.

Could be increased heart-rate reminding you of the anxiety of a trip? I know caffiene can cause a lil anxiety in some people.

Does it go away when the caffeine wears off? If so that sounds pretty amazing. Caffeine gives me a good bit of euphoria so that would be a great way to wake up

I didn't develop HPPD from LSD but from 25b-NBOMe. This is off topic from caffeine but during an intense excercise session I start to trip hard. Very clear visuals. I have a theory that the 25x-NBOMe's are stored in fat, very similar to THC. And when you excercise, the fat burns and the 25x-NBOMe is released back into your bloodstream. I have no physical evidence of this, whatsoever. Just a theory. Actually not even a theory, just an idea.

Yes it goes away when the caffeine wears off. I'm being serious too. I was walking my dog drinking coffee, and I realized I was slowly seeing everything get a bit more, ya know, descriptive. As I kept drinking my coffee (huge size), it got more and more HPPD-like.
I love HPPD so i'm gonna do some experimenting with this in a bit

Most definitely! I often have tracers/patterning when I'm cold sober, but caffeine brings me to a semi-tripping state. I haven't even tripped in a month now and it still happens.

I'm really not a fan of the caffeine/mushroom combo.
If I have caffeine (an appreciable amount, say 100mg or more) during a trip I usually get racing thoughts (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racing_thoughts pretty much sums it up) which I don't find very pleasant in any sense of the word.
Even if I have caffeine after the trip is over it can still happen, but to a lesser extent, this lasts for a few days or so, and so I usually refrain from drinking caffeine for a few days after a trip, I find that caffeine can really kill/work-against the "serenity" of my afterglow.
As for visuals brought on by coffee consumption? Nah, not any that I've noticed.
EDIT: Should probably add that I'm not really a regular drinker of caffeine, usually only indulge once every week or two.

I get that too... not too related to trippingg Though.. It depends on my mindset at the time or consumption.. you got to sit down, relax and feel the spirit entering your body...

Do you drink coffee when you trip? It very well could be a conditioned trigger or maybe even PTSD from a heavy trip? Do you wake up with walls breathing? When I've experienced HPPD it was for the duration of nine months to a year from several large doses, I couldn't smoke pot/dab let alone eat any drugs...so you may have hppd but it shouldent go away, like you wake up walls are breathing and colorers shifting, static snow, CEVs, and panic attacks. I found it difficult to sleep at first when I though I was "crazy" but each day got a bit better, I seriously considered killing myself on two occasions to try and make it stop but I just forced myself to "like" what was happening to me. So anyone out there having troubles, remember you'll be okay, just a little time..

This is a form of self hypnosis! Or clinically called auto-hypnosis!

Man.. every change you make to yourself is self hypnosis.. I am not sure you would like to think too much more upon this... caught me in a moral dilemma.. took a great joy from my life indeed.
