Would you re-roll the genetic dice?

Say you had to keep the same parents though. If given the option, would you rather have been born with a different random genetic makeup or the one you have now?
I'd stay as I am, no terminal illness, mental illness, or other outstanding issues. I'm curious if others would take another stab at it.

I wouldn't re-roll, but if I could alter my genes to my specs I totally would.

Nope. I'm rather pleased with my roll, and I've had time to fine-tune what I was given over the years.

That's difficult to say. My sister came out a lot more normal (mentally and personality-wise) than me, but she also came out way fatter and uglier than me.
I've got as close to perfect genes as far as my body goes, face is something else but again it could be worse. And uhm, no, I'm kind of bipolar/ADD and crazy but that has also made me very interesting and unique with a lot of weird stories to tell. I would not roll the dice.
Ask me again when I'm 80 years old and close to dying, then I would say, "Hell yea, let's re-roll again!"

I do find it interesting that there are Einstein's and Marilyn Monroe's sitting in most-every pair of parents, it's just that the odds are so low of hitting those genetic lotteries. I love genetics, If I had been born a decade later I'd be pursuing a degree in genetic engineering without a doubt.

tough question. i got pretty shafted in the genetics department, both physical and mental health-wise.
i don't know that i'd re-roll, though. there was a time that i would really have rather been someone else, or never have been born, but as i'm getting older i am becoming more comfortable with myself. i do wish i wasn't in pain all the time because of my genetics, but i rather like the person i've grown up to be--most of the time, anyway--i'm pretty awesome.
but what the hell, "Dovie'andi se tovya sagain."

I'm convinced I grew up to be the fucked up bastard I am right now. I'm smart, handsome and have a big dick but I will most likely get alzheimers, have high chances of heart disease later on in life and a small chance of schizophrenia too. Also, diabetes, my death will hopefully be a sweet one.
Edit: So yes, I'm a keeper

Interesting thread!
I've got schizophrenia in the genes, two of my three brothers have it, all brought out by drug use. I now have schizophrenia also but heading into remission (from drugs). I can't handle anything not even high caffeine, my brain just bombs out. I think if I rerolled, I'd still have the predisposition.
Mum has high blood pressure and I have it too at 26, although weight and no exercise, also medication, may be contributing. I'm medicated for it, but it will only drop as I lose weight and start moving again.
Naturally I have almost extreme body hair. Fortunately none on the back but there's even hair on all of my toes. An old friend saw me with shorts and no shoes once and goes, "Look at this fucking hobbit!" I've actually gone as far as getting a hair growth inhibitor (a recent kinda thing) spray and applying it. It's reduced it to a more believable level. Heh heh! That's embarrassing but it was pretty bad and I take the initiative.
My cock is average size.
But without sounding like a dick I'm pretty fucking smart, some people have called me a genius especially in my psychology class after I wrote this witty email to everyone on campus (in reply to this ongoing joke in the email system). Old friends have said, "I'm still waiting for Pricey to be the next Einstein." Also been called "Einstein's son". There's no way I'd want to lose this brain, even if it can't handle anything but its own juices. It's way too much fun being smart. It's been about all that's been fun for me, as I've been pretty isolated. It's bit of a romantic type smart guy who works alone to understand things. I hope...
And, my dad was a fucking good looking man in his young days. I saw some old photos of him and was like, "shitfuck..." My mum looks kinda good. I get a lot of looks from girls when I'm having good days and I'm not feeling shit from the mental illness (it's up and down).
Then, I'm going to sound like a fuckwit, but once these few extra pounds are defeated by my dieting, I'm going to have a pretty sweet figure. I went swimming with a friend once and he looked at my pecs, pointed and goes, "I'd kill for that."
So I'm pretty damn lucky really. Just some moderate to high flaws.
Wouldn't re roll.

I soul absolutely re-roll the dice.
I'm pretty unhappy with my genes.
Although I would hate to turn out to be a complete dumbfuck like many people I see nowadays.
Fuckin' 25 year old men that can't do a simple math problem in their head, gotta bust out pen & paper and take a few minutes and even then still very possibly get it wrong. Or can't perform simple tasks like changing a tire or patching a hole in drywall & shit, it really irks me that so many people seem so incompetent when it comes to shit that anyone should be able to do. I'm happy with myself in these departments.
But I'm not the most attractive person, I have a few health problems, my eyes are terrible, I have some stuff wrong with my brain, not like full-blown mental illness or anything, but still, and a few other things that I'd like to change.
