Whats up with the EBay 'information' auctions? Most claim that you can actually get Electronics for DIRT cheap. All YOU have to do, is pay $5, $10 $15 (whatever price) to get the info.
I'm curious if there is something that I'm missing. But I would never buy the info because I think it's a scam. (maybe I'm just a skeptical idiot! )
Has anyone heard of this or actually purchased the 'information' and used it with success???
Here is a classic example, where the seller claims that the BOSE Lifestyle 12 (among other very expensive items) can be had, for... FREE!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3048713989&category=39811
The sellers ALWAYS have a 99-100% rating too, I would think that eBay would get a flood of pissed off people and they would shut this kind of thing down, thats why I have to ask, WTF?

Its a scam, I watched an auction for information on how to get a 50 inch Plasma TV for only $100. After the auction I emailed the high bidder to find out what that information actually was. When he wrote back he sent me the series of internet links the auctioneer sent him. The links were all part of a pyramid scheme, you invest $100 and wait until 600 more people sign up under you and give their $100 bucks. After the 600th person signs up with their $100 then then the TV is paid for and sent to you. But you have to recruit those 600 people and each of those people have to recruit their own 600 under their name. 100% scam.
My advice, check the sellers past auctions where he sells this same thing and email the high bidder. See if he/she got the electronics and ask if you can find out how they went about it.

I always remember the adage "If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is."
If I knew a way to get free plasma TV's and DVD players, I sure as hell wouldn't be telling strangers on eBay how to do it for $15 a pop.
-------------------- The above is an extract from my fictional novel, "The random postings of Edame". In the beginning was the word. And man could not handle the word, and the hearing of the word, and he asked God to take away his ears so that he might live in peace without having to hear words which might upset his equinamity or corrupt the unblemished purity of his conscience. And God, hearing this desperate plea from His creation, wrinkled His mighty brow for a moment and then leaned down toward man, beckoning that he should come close so as to hear all that was about to be revealed to him. "Fuck you," He whispered, and frowned upon the pathetic supplicant before retreating to His heavens.

Ha! probably will try and recruit you. Im not totally sure about being 600 people but it was up there, maybe like 100 or 150. Either way conning people into a pyramid scam sucks especially when you have too so you can get your money back.

Do the math on any pyramid scheme and you will find that very quickly the planet runs out of enough people to join. Shit 600 people getting 600 people would be 360,000 people. 360,000 people getting 600 would be almost a quarter billion. Yes I did say billion.
