Crocodiles love vegans more than vegans love crocodiles.

Because if we don't agree with you we must either "not understand", or have less information about the subject than you right?

I'm still waiting for you to explain why Goodall's research demonstrated the existence of carnivorous/omnivorous chimp communities. It is quite contrary to the claims you made in this thread regarding the history of the human diet.

What does that even mean? "Not meat eaters naturally?" I am nature, and i eat meat. Therefore i am a natural meat eater. Now i can get on board with reducing animal cruelty and wastefulness and all that and I'll be honest i could never hunt my own food and feel good about it (just because i love animals too much to do it myself)... But i accept that its just a part of life.

We have predator eyes. Would you care to explain why our eyes are mounted in the front of our skull as in almost all predators, instead of on the sides of the head like almost all prey animals?

Hint: it's because having your eyes mounted in the front of your head is more beneficial for tracking and killing prey.

i dont think just because human eyes at front of face doesnt means that you are great hunter. if it was the case crocodiles would be true vegans.

Crocodiles are one of the few (very unusual) animals who attack their prey from below. They are an exception to a general rule that we see in nature. I could provide hundreds of examples in which my generalization is true.
Now consider that we have archaeological records that demonstrate that ancient humans ate meat, AND that the research on our closest DNA relatives shows that they DO eat meat(sometimes exclusively). I think my argument is fairly conclusive.

I think your argument that humans didn't have omnivorous diets historically is bogus.

i am just saying saying a animal herbivorius or carnivorius is not only depends on the eyes... we have alot of things same with herbivorius animals..  its not one thing its combination of things.. just like in the list... up there ...

So you are backing off your claim that humans have not had omnivorous diets historically? You aren't going to present any evidence that contradicts the archaeological records of transitional primates eating meat? You aren't going to present any evidence that contradicts Goodall's research showing our closest living relatives are omnivorous?

Didn't think so.

Either way, humans are quite effective as hunters. We don't have big claws or teeth but we do have the ability to make and use tools, formulate complex strategies and coordinate on their execution with others, and so on.

The chart definitely is selective in which traits it examines.

Perhaps if you intentionally ignore the brain and eyes, but those are parts of the body too.

Let me ask you though, what should a giant panda eat? Where would it fall on that chart?

We are not any one part of our body, we are the complete thing. Including the brain. The ability to make crude tools and use them to hunt despite our "weak" build is part of our evolution and part of our nature.

yes thats indeed pretty interesting ... even a panda with huge canines become herbivore and we are still showing our tiny canines and saying grrrr.  :publicfart:
its better to just focus on science and find out what is good and what is not.

I like to present an impeccable and irrefutable argument, but you are welcome to try.
