Low dose vs high dose, which is more difficult?

Ok, as obvious as the answer should be, there seems to be several that would say a lower dose can be more difficult to deal with.
I personaly have not done a heroic dose of shrooms, but I have done a couple LD trips. So I cannot really give a opinion on this subject. I've been blitzed on acid several times, but acid is another animal that slamms you into the trip rather hard and fast, unlike shrooms from what I've experienced. Shrooms seem to be a lot more gentle, if that's the word for it. Just as intense, but more of a mind fuck. I've been through two level 1 shroom trips, that were fairly intense, and I didn't "have" to give up the ego. I did struggle with it throughout the trip, but it was managable.I'm sure a higher dose will change that.
Acid, almost every time I was forced to give up the ego, or else completely go into a panic with horrific anxiety. Kind of a sink or swim deal.after just going with the flow, i would feel fantastic and everything was at peace. I haven't got pushed with the shrooms "yet"...
SO,,,,,,
What's everyones opinion?
Im just curious to see if what Mckenna said about taking to little is really a more difficult job to get through. To me, a intense large dose would be more of a job to handle than a lower dose! I might be wrong...
Maybe use a level 1/2 vs 4/5 as the model.......

Low doses are easier to manage, without question. But at the same time i suppose it is kind of true that the possibility of a bad trip might greatly diminish if you completely break through and have ego death instead of getting really really close to that edge and having to deal with that the whole trip.

dont think so much about it, just trip?
what do you like the most?
I like high doses most, or sometimes medium doses (3.5g shrooms or sometimes 1½-2 hits LSD), else 3 hits LSD or 3-4g mushroom chocolates
mushroom chocolates are best directly from the freezer, impossible to get a bad trip, no nausea/taste, wont even notice Ive eaten anything, even with cubes that taste like shit normally my favorite way of eating them, best if you use a coffee grinder too
no pain, no gain you will have to process higher doses more usually, but not always set, setting, dose
btw.. LDs are better than the best trip, so if you can get LDs on demand there would be no reason to trip, except for learning about yourself rarely trips can reduce the amount of LDs sometimes, just like smoking weed can... anything that disturbs the mind a bit for a while can

I'm going to generalise in a major way and say that:
During trip:
Low Dose - challenging High Dose - easier
After trip:
Low Dose - easier High Dose - challenging

I think LSD is way more smooth and gentle, especially the nice slow come up. I find high dose trips to be more uncomfortable, when your gi-tract feels weird or when your body temperature is fluctuating. I personally like being cold more than hot and I'm generally not cold, what I found really interesting was one trip I was uncomfortably hot while everyone else was complaining about being cold.

I find that low doses are quite enjoyable. I would say that your first experience should be psychedelic, as in level 3 or at least a solid level 2. This is just my opinion though, so do as you feel comfortable. I find that I can massive amounts of lucy and be perfectly able to communicate with others and without them finding me to be acting odd. After peaking of course lol. Now with shrooms I want to be outside and with maybe one other person if I have consumed 4-5g of average strength cubes. I can't deal with too much commotion on psilocybin whereas on acid I have no issues.

Well, my opinion is you haven't tripped enough to know...but what the hell. Low doses can leave you feeling extremely mentally "itchy" like something should be happening but it's not - and since you blew the tolerance already for a good trip it can be frustrating as well. It's like you have the desire to get into it full on but there's not enough power available.
But "more difficult to deal with?" Not a chance.

If you take a high dose and never pass over to the other level, then it can turn really messy.
If you take high enough does(but not too much) and you get the breakthrough to the other level, then it is really nice.
Taking low dose as in the ones where you can still function in this reality without any forms of dimensionshifts, they are easy to deal with.

For me, most difficult dose is enough to have me thinking about who I really am and my shitty nature but not enough to override my ego.

I started on low doses....since Ive hit higher doses Ive never went back. I have a natural high drug tolerance to begin with, but my average mush trip is 8-10g. Trips vary obviously but it gets me to 4/5....I love the 4/5 level so much I think a 1/2 level may leave me wanting more...

Good info guy!
I think I agree with not taking enough to break through. Seem both low doses I've done left me with no visuals but still struggling with it. I'm thinking you should do enough to break through.
I don't know about these Blue Meanies I got. They really fucked with my head. To the point I didn't enjoy it. I kept looking at the clock, thinking I'm ready for this shit to be over with already! Thinking of doubling the dose makes me worry that part will be worse ten fold! Maybe cubes aren't as mind fucking?!?

it`s harder to let go and relax on low doses, while on high doses you are `forced` to let go of everything.
