i went like 3 months with no internet cuz i had no computer about a 16 months ago and it was wonderful

But for it to mean anything you must embody the positivity of what you wish to achieve. This is not denial it is allowing yourself to grow. Saying I'm not going to do "X" for 10 days to prove I can do it and then on day 11 I go back to "X" just shows how dependent on "X" I am so whats the point? Is this a demonstration of will power (which is nonsense) or a dedicated course around recognising that what you normally do in life is supplementary, unhelpful and disposable?
