DMT Question
    #19399719 - 01/10/14 03:36 PM (10 years, 1 month ago)

So my friend of my mine told me that he had tried DMT and that he had a good trip but on the comedown it scarred him because the people that were watching him turned into ghosts.

Will I have to worry about my sitters turning into ghosts? Also what's the chance of a bad trip?

I think he was just interpreting them as ghosts, when he could have interpreted seeing his sitters "true essence" or their "aura".

Set + setting are everything. If you are not in the right mindset or setting, I wouldn't do it. I've had nothing but amazing experiences based on that rule alone. :mushroom2:

Your sitters turning into ghosts will probly be the least disturbing part of your "trip"

I dont think you are ready for DMT

off topic:

I've never broken through because I've never smoked my own DMT. The DMT was always somebody elses, and there were always "sitters" around watching me, like it was some great entertainment. I just can't let go when there are a bunch of people in the room watching me.

It's like trying to rub one out but never being able to climax because there are a bunch of people in the room enjoying the show.

for fuck's sake give me some privacy goddamnit

When the time comes I'll have to extract my own DMT

/rant

I feel that's really on topic actually, I prefer it with only 1 person or by myself, free of external influences. Yes making it yourself is quite rewarding :psychsplit:

I also don't think it's "tough" but it is mentally demanding, and if you can't keep up or maintain some form of cognitive ability, you may interpret your experience as negative. I would describe blasting off as taking 8+g's of fungus and depriving your senses of sight and sound.

When I first got into DMT I figured what is considered the holy grail of the psychedelics would be a huge process to extract. Turns out its a few simple steps and in about 16 hours you get beautiful pure white crystals  :awedance:

Extracted my first batch of dmt a couple days ago. I was really surprised just how easy it was. Had my first break through today. All I can say is holy fuck. My mouth is still wide open from pure astonishment. I can't believe what happened to me and what Ieexperienced. Nothing could have prepared me for that. Wow

I agree. anyone who NEEDS a sitter shouldn't be tripping because they are already putting way 2 much thought into it. empty the mind and be like water says bruce lee

Anyone who need a sitter shouldn't be tripping? Sure about that?
I feel saddened that our culture doesn't embrace the way of the shaman

well, a shaman-sitter is always good. whenever someone says 'sitter' I think of a retarded friend who sits their and ruins a trip. if you have a QUALITY sitter, then that's def cool.

"Sitter" and "frat boy" don't always have to go hand in hand
Sometimes someone's presence and subtle good vibes can be enough.

Everyone is different, your questions cannot be answered until you actually use DMT.

The important thing to remember with DMT is to forget everything. Let go completely. Let her take you. Forget the physical feelings, forget the anxiety, forget all that. If you can accomplish that, there is no way DMT will give you a bad trip. The spirits aren't here to harm us. They are as curious of us as we are of them.

have your sitter sit in another room seperate from you.  or at least behind you out of your sight.  dmt is a very personal experience, and i personally hate having people even in the same house if im going to smoke it. also be sure that they know to not speak or make any abrubt noises until you have came back, and tom let you be the first one to speak.

It can be very difficult experience to die with an audience.
