What's in the jar? Looks like wood chips and leaves or something?

It's mystery sawdust found outdoors semi rotten + maple wood chips. Tyvek in between lids for air exchange.

Just do them a favor and get them the hell out of that jar!!! Get a flower pot and mix that with some chips . If its freezing outside, bring it in the garage but once things warm up get it outdoors . Things grow way better outside.

All are pinning in 60F cool temp high humidity. I brought one baggie of pinning spawn into 70F Temps to see if growth continues and if it goes faster.
I will update growth of these pins as it progresses. Hope to see faster development and maybe more fruits

I am trying my hand at ovoids from wild fruits I printed last year. About to drop wedges in like a week. Was planning on HWFP and fruiting indoors. Any advice?

I'll keep posting on my various chunks. Please look at a thread : indoor ovoid fruiting- community cultivation notes:
7sun describes a great couple ways that help fruiting . I'm just playing with what I've got and can't always pamper these

There are 4 fatty pins growing nicely on first baggie brought to 70F Temps. Misting daily and added wax paper "leaf layer" per 7suns advice to aid keeping co2 and humidity right

Largest fat pins seem happy 😊 😃

Other half is in same 70F Temps now and pins galore but lots might stall as the fattest seem to take off

I'm so stoked just to have few nice fruits to watch grow indoors its a dream 😍 ✨️ took a decade but WORTH it 👌

My pins don't look like many others ovoid pins!! Wtf they look like a giant azure pin and cube look with small pale cap.
So many others ovoids have dark caps and big caps at pin stage too. My old culture had dark caps and big caps

It's not about the destination. It's about the journey. Nice.

These seem happy popping curve fruiting from underneath crevasses I've got high hopes for it to enjoy some woodland areas in time. They are quite beefy size pins compared to sterile fat brown cap ones I had previously

Could my culture not be ovoid? And like aztecorum or something? Look how these still look like long ass azure pins

More I find ovoid pics mine look less like what others have , some thought these were wood grown cubes lol 😆 😅 gosh
I'm happy with them and want to send them for sequencing

Give them some air and maybe a watering to get the caps to enlarge They like to be misted. Once they get bigger you'll know for sure, my money is on ovoids.

I've been misting these ALOT and giving them FAE by opening bags and manual fanning each day with misting . I think ovoid looks show in tiny pins here but just like last ones that grew in cold these have same look long n skinny but tough
This is pic of last healthy one for reference

I might bring it back to cool 60 to 59F and see if these fatten up
This was the small river flood tray made from original mycelium stuck to walls of tub when I broke it into two bags.
This was pin starting

Now kept wet and in cold 59 to 60 temp tub lid loose , this is lil fatty today ( so healthy) just hope few more pop under wax paper leaf layer next

It's hard to see what temp they prefer I think any temp above freezing they'll grow once out of nutrients?
So fun to watch thru winter
I know these will like outside I've got one bed made these tore thru before freezing I hope to catch spring fruits and fall fruits from these so things seem to pan out

God damn. We have so many members doing so much cool work with exotics right now. It's an exciting time to be in the hobby.

 Today
And longest one is curving more toward light and cap creating veil area
The single large fruit left in cold seems happiest in pin stage , still same looks like the bag but shorter stockyer and with caramel cap
