I figure I need a girlfriend or more single friends. Such a silly problem really but I get lonely when I see nobody except my housemates for the whole weekend, and they don't pretend to ever be more than mildly interested in me.
I'll find things to do, that's not a problem I guess. But i want peoples to validate my stupid existence
i dont see why people ditch their normal groups of friends once they've found someone who can be more considerable as a signifigicant other, the more the merrier i say, all things in moderation
i think it must get old spending 100% of ur time with one person anyways

totally feel Sheekle. actually, i've seen couples get into like power ego games where they have this like mutual ego feedback shit going on. almost makes them unbearable to be around, especially if you're single it can be quite obnoxious.
but oh well.

yeah man power struggles are a pretty common part of relationships i think, like if one partner feels like after exposing their full sense of self that something is a threat to them or that they're being percieved as less than what they should be, then it's natural to try and compensate for it by gaining dominance in other ways. the other party takes the other's need for dominance as a threat themselves, sometimes without being entirely aware as to why they're doing it, which makes them feel the need to retaliate. it builds up off itself as both parties try and gain dominance, neither are willing to give up power on their end, and what was once the power of love which drove them, turns into the love of power.
i think this can be overcome with taking the time to understand each other and loving patience, but in our fast-paced society it's not too common to step back and take the time to try and analyze and fix things, and many choose to rather push each other away instead of striving towards unity
often times ironically couples will continue to stay together despite disliking each other, because of the societial pressures of "relationships" being composed of either "offically together" or "broken up", instead of life being seen as a grey area world of ebbs and flows

and the fallacy of dualistic thinking rears its ugly head yet again...it's such a simple fallacy to see, but it seems incredibly difficult for a lot of people to wrap their minds around. this one little understanding can change everything.

I feel you one of my best friends is having a baby next week with his girlfriend. My other best friend is doing some kind of yoko ono john Lennon deal where they just fuck in their room all the time and she doesn't really let him go anywhere. So at the end of the night when we are one taking shots and or smoking weed, they get to go cuddle and fuck someone they love. All I get to do is drink more or go to sleep . However I'm getting my insurance on my car back soon so I am going to hit some bars, fests and things of that sort. You never know until you try
