Help me create wild patches using liquid culture of Psilocybe Cyanescenes (Wavy Caps)??
    #19396728 - 01/10/14 12:08 AM (10 years, 1 month ago)

I want to know if I were to make a few gallons of liquid culture and poured that all over my property in various locations and conditions if I would find mushies in the fall? FYI I am 50 miles inland from the famous park on the Columbia river, so growing conditions are ideal.

If I put enough LC out there could I see a 200-300g wet harvest? Basically, can I turn my property into my own version of Ft Stevens with lots of LC everywhere?

Any suggestions on when to spawn etc would be great. How much LC to make?

What it the best LC Tek for Psilocybe Cyans.

Woodlovers are slow by nature. They take they're own time...

If you did as you were saying the chances of success would be low.

If you spent your energy making layered beds in spring and sprayed the same lc in the layers as you made the bed it would improve your chances.

Even better would be to start spores on grain and then spawn that to pasteurized sawdust...maple, birch, alder, etc etc and when that colonizes spawn that on to woodchips that are soaked and pasteurized.

With colonized bags/tubs of colonized woodchips/sawdust you can make many beds. All you need is to layer beds. Soaked woodchips, colonized cyan spawn sprinkled, soaked sawdust, thin layer potting soil, woodchips, spawn, sawdust etc...

On top you sprinkle a top soil layer.

Keep the beds watered all summer and eventually it will fruit.

Good luck

I spray LC as well as spore water . I have patches of cyanescens because of it over the years . I have a P caerulipes fruit from sprayed LC too.

I remember seeing someone (I think loki but I'm probably wrong) make spore prints on his boots to spread the joy. Although not practical, I always thought it was cool and funny.

The biggest obstacle for me is that I a often away in the summer bike touring. That is another great "drug!" This is why I am hoping for wild patches. I can grow cubes and pans for sustenance. But it would be fun if I could manage to get a few "wild" patches. If I was home all summer and didn't share my place with others watering would not be an issue. Maybe a stealth automated drip system?

water it once a week if its hot, if not just cover it up with wet straw or grass or wutever and that will buy you lots of time during the summer
