Mcdonalds and other fastfoods, consuming animal protein and animal fat, not moving-excersizing, diabet type 2. you can count in the sugar addiction (god damn coca cola) and some genetical and metobolical factors but i think its combination of all.

Fats aren't very healthy, but they don't make you fat the way carbohydrates do. Body fat is produced when you have excess glucose in the blood. High amounts of sugars and starches will make you fat a lot faster than a fatty steak.

That's not actually true, is it? Because you can gain excess fat from fat as well. Even if you are on a low-carb diet, you won't lost much weight if you are eating fried chicken every day. Even excess protein has the possibility of converting to fat.

Fat doesn't get absorbed very well, either. You end up shitting it out. Sugar and starch (polymerized glucose) are pretty much the only things available immediately to the body
Fat has a higher calorie content by weight, but depending on your digestive system at the time you consume it, a decent percentage of it will never be utilized.

Sure they are. Why wouldn't they be? Sure trans fat is bad, but I don't see anything bad about mono saturated fats and omega fats. What is so unhealthy about them?

You're complaining about 8 pounds in 3-4 weeks? The average human body can put on between 1-2 pounds of muscle per month. If you gained 8 pounds in a month I guarantee there was a good chunk of fat in there.
Um, no. I guarantee you're wrong.

And how you can do that? You certainly didn't gain 2lbs of muscle if you think that all that weight is related to muscle in ~3 weeks

There is no chance you put on 8 pounds of muscle in 3 weeks. You may have weighed yourself relatively dehydrated and while working out for three weeks were more conscious of being healthy and drinking water and gained a bunch of water weight (along with a pound or two of muscle) but you did not put on 8 pounds of muscle. That's unheard of.

There's quite a bit of small-batch malt whisky being made in Japan and of course a great market for scotch there. Beer might well catch on, we have to hope Although, it's pretty moot to me anyways; better here (US) than anywhere else
That is hilarious. 99% of beer drunk in the US is still complete piss water like Bud (not the original good Czech one), Coors, Natural Lite etc. Get real.
A few micro brews in some areas in the last 10-15 years and you have the best beer in the world??
Have you been to Europe at all?
Pilsner/lager - Germany, Czech Republic etc.
Ales - UK
Wheat beers - Belgium
And the rest. I will admit and am glad to see that the US is slowly starting to realise that their beer is atrocious, but you are a LONG way from being the best in the world, sorry.
By the way I lived in St. Louis for over 6 years and am well aware of Budweiser and other brands, how prevalent they are and how awful they taste.

Belgium wheat beers? Are you kidding? Belgium is all about the trappist ales and god are they ever fucking delicious. Germany has far better wheat beers than Belgium.

Since I'm going to go out on a limb and assume your only experience with American beer is Budweiser and its ilk, I'm going to call you unfit to make any sort of judgement on the matter. By the way, St. Louis is a terrible area to be sampling beer. Good beer comes from Oregon, Michigan, and Washington. In that order. Between those three states, that is around 360 active craft breweries. There are another seven or eight states all producing craft beer, but I've not really sampled much of their product and will not attest to its quality.
Then again, you are from the UK, and I've not met a single one of you without the most absurd sense of elitism and entitlement known to man. Coincidentally, only Scotland produces anything of note and you must live vicariously through the merits of the rest of your continent's beer. Pathetic.
And yes, our beer is infinitely better than any of yours.
