what do you see as the role of family? do you think it will persist as an institution in years to come?
in a purely logical sense there is no necessity for a nuclear family, there is no real reason to be tied by blood, also many functions could be outsourced.

when you consider brotherhood as an objective value or when you believe spiritually to be all one god.. then you cant say that ! family in living beings must be the principal value to you for all times
how could you think being one with strangers and beyond if who you lived with from birth and since took care of you, are nothing to yourself ??

how can you think those who took care of you from birth are anything so special (yourself included) especially when you are one with humanity?

Family.. clans.. sects... more so.. family you are born into..
-------------------- And thus begins the reverse-fusing of our one-dimentional understanding, and adds ever-expanding perspectives, in depth and number; splitting our perception, and in so doing, seemingly irrationally, creates yet more one-ness, with all that ever was, is and will ever be, streching across the infinite, inunderstood concept of everything, percievable and not.

it is not the concept that matter when it is about being, objective constant matters
like objectively how could you be one with humanity if you don't belong to your family as one too ?? objectively how that is possible ? aren't your family and neighborhood humans too ??
your schemas is impossible, unless you mean subjectively to take advantage of evil existence or nothing being the constant reference fact, for you to live through concepts of positive life that have nothing to do with present facts.. so you don't have to realize anything or to be true in those claims

you've never seen family gatherings until either black folks or mexicans get together. maybe italians but they always end up fighting and shit. too much red wine, it's not a good thing. i think mostly family is about food, eating, and obnoxious drunk uncles.

The (non-nuclear) Kibbutz in Israel replaces family; or it supports a simple family design by blending
- a work camp,
- an orphanage and
- some family time.
In the warm climate and agricultural theme, it works, probably similar to indigenous society arrangements of child care (Amerinds, African Tribal, Aztec, etc.).
A nuclear family structure fosters the cult of cute mini-me which could be a big plus for some families in pumping up the love vibes, but when one or more parents is broken, it creates a potentially abusive context to which a Kibbutz is a huge improvement.
