Well it turns out this is one of my specialties. Here are two of the best musicians out there that are not only making music especially suited for inward journeys but they are also quite familiar with the ways that lead to such experiences * wink wink, nudge nudge *
Steve Roach has an impressive catalog dating as far as the 1980s. Here is a sample of some of his music:
Byron Metcalf specialises in shamanic drumming and he's one of the finest out there. He's recorded some music with Steve as well. Here is a sample:

pretty high quality, lasts a long time some of it
btw OP: with shamanism you might need to be grounded and know what you want, but dunno shamans are normally not stressed, I think ;-)
pretty good for a meditation
I would advise against pure drumming... unless you know to keep you cool no matter what.. with a youtube video... you can stop, but you cannot return at will as you would drumming yourself... neither can you controll it...

That is a cool list chewy...everyone seems to look for techno-electronic mesmerizing sound bytes....these are simple, gut strung guitars and simple memorize-able lyrics and melodies. Thanks.

Good stuff everyone, thanks for sharing. If you'd like to check out Scandinavian shamanism I can recommend an excellent project from Norway to you: Wardruna. Pretty dark, but very powerful.

Haha yeah i totally agree. Before my ceremonies I was all "where dat shpongle at??" whenever i would drop. But these songs became so engrained in my brain that my personal connection to them has completely changed that.

i know you're primarily interested in "shamanic drumming," however i would highly encourage seeking out some of the "dick's picks" versions of "drums" by the grateful dead. there are many drum "jams" that have a lot of depth and versatility, and in my opinion go hand-in-hand with the psychedelic experience.
just listen to a couple versions, preferably the 20+ minute versions and see if it's something that would fit well into your journey. HIGHLY recommended

The best is to get a frame drum and drum yourself anyway. You can already reach profound altered states by drumming only, can you imagine how amazing it will be while tripping? Go for it, it's worth it...

While that is indeed true, the problem I see is that you cannot reach a state of truly letting go since you need to keep drumming to keep the momentum going. This is why, in traditional societies, there is a drummer ( or drummers ) and people experiencing the journey.
While I was shrooming one day, I decided to use my tabla ( indian hand drum ) and it was amazing, especially because of the sheer variety of tones you can get with a tabla but after a while I wished I could have laid down and let the beat carry me away but I couldn't since I had to keep playing.
