Cake in plant pot
    #19397456 - 01/10/14 06:08 AM (10 years, 21 days ago)

I had a contammed cake that was not producing so I thought, hey why not crumble this thing up into my avocado plant. The pot needs more soil anyway. So I crumbled up this cake and cased with potting soil and forgot about it and when I took my shower this morning (plant is in my bathroom) I saw this widdle guy.

Yes, we've long recommended tossing contaminated or spent cakes into garden areas or houseplants.  They often recover and fruit.
