DUDE this movie is a classic, scorcese has done it again and produced something amazing. And there is so much drugs, like im talking about literally 30-45 minutes are just focused on drugs including "The cerebral palsy phase" of Quaalude(which im told are like the benzos of the 80-90s).
Excellent acting, humor, not an overly complex plot but its still absolutely gripping every moment of the film. Dicaprio does an amazing job always.
Its sad though to see all the negative reviews because its "glorifying" criminal behaviours, BS its a fucking movie based on a true event. Go bitch and moan to the real dude and leave this classic alone.

The easiest way to put it is they're so fake! Even if it's done as good as possible, it's still inherently fake. Usually it's not done as good as possible and the events are remixed as well as exaggerated in immature ways. Re-enactments are a joke.
Written biographies is what it's all about.

American Hustle sucked so hard. I wanted to turn it off after 15 minutes, but just watched it as I had already invested that much time, it didn't get any better. Both groups of people were complete pieces of shit either way, but Wolf of Wall Street was entertaining as shit.

he's a amazing actor, i don't think he gets enough credit because he is a chubby funny guy. he's got great timing, physical performance, commitment, i think he's one of the best comedic actors out there now

lol maybe a bit, but he definitely had a rubber dick as well. when his 'wife' starts freaking out on him it's obviously a fake dick

yeah i never thought much of jonah hill until seeing him in this movie. and this just reaffirmed how great of an actor leo is. just totally believable the whole way through. sometimes in movies i focus too much on how these are just actors playing a part, but not in this.
i wish kind of hoping for more violence going into it, since it had been compared to goodfellas, but i guess it didn't really need it.

Just saw it really enjoyed it.
Is it just me or does LD literally play the same character as in Goodfellas. The plots are literally identical with the difference being one's a gangster movie the other is wallstreet or a more modern gangster.

The same character from goodfellas. Just a modern twist on it.
