Popcorn colonization question

Okay, so just 3-4 days ago i inoculated a 1/2 pint jar filled with popcorn with Psilocybe Cubensis (Penis Envy) spores that i had obtained, I saw no signs of mycelia...like no signs. So, with popcorn how long does it take for the spores to germinate? I also put a high concentration in the jars. Yes i am a noob and this is my first grow, and my first post so bear with me here. Thanks so much for your input!

also put way to much verm at the top, so i took it out (using sterile measures of course) so i thought it was because of the O2 choke-off, and then reinoculated just incase

It can take a while with syringes, be patient and wait a few more days.

I use popcorn all the time if you get the moisture content rite it works great(not as good as WBS but a lot cleaner to work with)
OP you shouldn't put dry verm in with grains. use pollyfil, tyvek or sfds for a filter. also it can take a lot longer than a few days for spores to germinate. just let your jars be and have some patients. Also 71 is a great temp for colonization.

I started with grains it was a bit rocky at first but its not that hard. It just sounds like you need to do a bit more reading. use the search bar at the top of the page. just look up random stuff see what you can learn. It worked for me.

its not that hard, there is no soak. Just simmer them at medium to low heat until they are soft all the way threw and the outer skin starts to split slightly.

No, my popcorn is on point in moisture I'm pretty sure it was because of the ridiculous amount of vermiculite at the top. I already took it out and re-inoculated the 4 jars with about 7ccs of Psilocybe Cubensis just to be safe, and put it in a warm dark place. Should see something Tuesday. I just need to learn some fucking patience.
