OK next riddle:
NASA sends you into space to investigate a planet. This planet resembles earth very closely however there are some weird things. It is up to you to figure out what is wrong.
One of the first things you notice is that there are babies but no children. Secondly, you find out that there are clouds and that it does hail and snow but it never rains. Third strange thing is that there are languages, with sentences that have no grammar or words...
So... ask me any question about this planet and I will answer it for you. Ask the right questions and you will find out what is wrong with this place so you can complete your first NASA assignment

How large is this place? You say similar to earth, is this similar in size as well?
Are there things growing here?
The language thing throws me off. To be a language I would think it would have to have sentences and grammar. Even tribes that talk with clicks have some sort of structure to the way they speak.

The place is big, but not large.
There are many plants, bushes, vegetables. They don't grow however. Also, there are no trees.
There is logic in things, also in the language. There just isn't any structure.

Like most riddles it is remarkably easy but requires out of the box thinking.
Back to the planet though, they have hash but no marijuana.

Is the air pressure higher on this planet than our own?
Perhaps that's why all these strange phenomena are happening, with the hash and the snow and whatnot...

Dudits:
There are wombs because there are women and they function. They have babies just as our women, except for the fact that they don't give birth. They all have a C-section.
The women, men and babies are all very human. There are no different races but the people are defenitely humans.
SgtPepperNo9:
You asked if there were adults, the answer is yes. People age as usual. They don't have any birthdays however as they are not born.
You bring up the issue of water. This is a difficult one. There is no water. There are lakes and oceans, they don't have water in them, but when you go into them, you do get wet.
You can't go underwater. As a matter of fact, there is no under. You can see a shade tent at a festival but there would be no means to get under it as under doesn't exist.
StephanRudicil:
You mention the issue of finishing. Finishing is easy. It happens all the time. It is starting that is difficult on this planet. No one can start. Therefore, they just choose to begin and all the issues are resolved.
Just like on earth, the beginning of time is a question that the people have no answer to. There are no religions to answer that question. And even if there were religions, they would have a hard time answering any questions as answers themselves don't even exist. You can question, but you will never get an answer.
shLong:
You mention the computer. There are no computers. There are laptops, tablets, CPU's, but no computers.
They have keys, but no boards.
They have the Alt key but not the Control key.
You are however, the closest to solving this riddle.
MagickSpore:
The world wide web. Non existent on this planet. There is a globe wide web instead. There is no world you see...

All you need to find out is what the fuck is wrong with this planet?
Why do they have questions but no answers? Why? Not where.

Your part on language is faulty I believe. I dont think it is possible to have language without words or grammar. Both are necessary to have language. Grammar is just rules surrounding our use of language and words. Pretty any language even as ticks or grunts would still have to follow basic rules to be able to communicate, hence you have grammar. Also, ticks/grunts/sounds that are used to communicate a message would be considered words.
These riddles suck. Is this crap you just made up?

So our mission is to figure out what's wrong with the planet, not what the planet is..?
In that case, the problem is the planet doesn't physically exist.

Things don't fit earthly logic because you are not on earth!
You need to figure out the logic of this new place, this is what NASA send you out there to do.

Everything is incomplete because something exists but everything doesn't.
You asked.
(hint: make a list of the things that exist and a list of the things that don't exist. Compare.)

It isnt about thinking outside the box, both of these riddles are flawed. Riddles should present in a way that can be broken down into mathematics. The first box riddle has points that doesnt make sense, ie how does the box rule the world?
Also, for me to attempt to solve the riddle, it will have to be clarified, as its points dont make sense. Like the language aspect.
These just seem like halfassed stoner riddles that dont make sense or follow logic, making them not even riddles at all.

That's a good question.
From the women that have C-sections.
The women have sex with their men like earthly women. They just can't give birth like earthly women, so they have C-sections.

I promise that I am by no means trolling.
The solution to the riddle may be slightly disappointing but that will be made up for!
Because once you figure it out and verify with me through PM you can join me in torturing the others with seemingly conflicting clues!

past exists. present doesn't exist. future doesn't exist.
They do have 'now' to compensate for a lack of present.

This is ridicolous. Please Explain how something does not have a present, yet has a "now" yet lacks present and future. Anything that ever was, has a past present and future.
This riddle is looking more like you have no idea what you are talking about.

Then you are with edible. It wasn't the solution.
It is quite clear (Edible agrees on this) that it is a problem not a solution.

The solution will make sense and will make you think you're stupid for not realising how easy it was.
Make a list of things that exist:
Past Babies Adults Women etc.
And a list of things that don't exist:
Grammar Future Children Present etc.
Compare.
If you don't see it, give the list to a family member in the age range of 10-12 and they will see it.
You are all making it too difficult for yourselves.

If it is a good answer Ill admit it was a good riddle. If the answer is lame, I call for public humiliation as punishment.
Also, I'd be willing to bet there is a chance that riddles dont cross cultural and language barriers. What is the source of this riddle? Has it been translated into english?

you can say women exist but all that really 'exists' is the lignuistic and mental concept of a woman, that's what's real, otherwise are you referring to the woman, or her body, or her societal station as a woman?
likewise grammar really does exist, it's a real linguistic and mental concept, same with all those other words.
concepts are what give things their apparent reality.

I'd just like to point out the fact, that the sentence "bacon smells like shit" is terribly wrong, since you can't really say "bacon" and "bad" in same sentence.
Not to mention "shit".
Then again, you're probably too used to the smell of Surströmming so you're unvoluntarily biased.

So was there ever an answer to the NASA thing? I read through all of it again but my head hurts now and I don't know if I missed it.
If not..Im thinking it has something to do with the words. Like there is no pronouns or they only have every other letter in the alphabet.
Something like that...sorry for bumping this up if you guys are over this damn thing.
EDIT: Damn...Im a idiot. Found it. Nevermind...

More riddles for you guys. EDIT: Please no cheating as in no google. If you google it and find the answer pm me or keep it to yourself
1. What walks on 4 legs in the morning, 2 at noon, and 3 in the evening?
2. Of all my siblings, which I have many, I am the number, wise old twenty. I always wear, my long thin hat, And stand on one leg, I've never sat. I'm last of last, and last of first I'm last of the best, and last of the worst. Who am I?
I have many many many more so when these two are solved if no one else posts a good riddle I will try to put a couple more up.
I also know alot of riddles where I describe a scene and you ask yes or no questions till you answer the question associated with the riddle.
example: A man lives on the 44th floor of his building. On rainy days, when he gets home from work, he takes the elevator all the way up to his floor. But on sunny days, he goes up to floor 20 and walks the rest of the way. Why does he do this?

Oh neat. But what if it's the letter I, and the rest of the riddle was just there to throw you off.

Is there a guy in the elevator dressed in a red uniform who pulls a lever like in olden days? Is the building actually two towers connected by a walkway like the one in Kuala Lumpur?

A man is found dead in the desert. He is wearing only his underwear. Half of a straw is found nearby.
How did this man die?

Does he do this out of choice, like he wants to walk up the last 24 floors on sunny days? Or is it simply not possible to take the elevator that far?
Quote:

How did this man die?
Did he go on a soul-searching peyote trip the night before with his friends, but lost his water bottle, and his friends, and walked around aimlessly until sunrise, when he mistook a mirage for a lake of Mtn Dew, and trying to drink it (with the straw), ended up with a stomach full of sand and possibly a baby scorpion?

No and No. its not a personal choice and the elevator goes all the way up and down.

No although that'd be shitty.

GoldenEye said: OK next riddle:
NASA sends you into space to investigate a planet. This planet resembles earth very closely however there are some weird things. It is up to you to figure out what is wrong.
One of the first things you notice is that there are babies but no children. Secondly, you find out that there are clouds and that it does hail and snow but it never rains. Third strange thing is that there are languages, with sentences that have no grammar or words...
So... ask me any question about this planet and I will answer it for you. Ask the right questions and you will find out what is wrong with this place so you can complete your first NASA assignment
This place is fucked up, NASA should bring me back.
Things are what they are... they may change and become something else... but still, everything are just as they should be.. saying that they are not as they should be is only because one has misdefined them.
