Food dehydrator question

Hi, Got some fruits in the food dehydrator. They been in there on the lowest racks for about an hour. I just went to check things out and they are already drier, but feel very warm. I haven't used this dehydrator much at all, so I'm not sure if that is normal or not. I usually fan dry for 24 hours then use damp rid to dry them the rest of the way. What do you guys think?

The entire purpose of the dehydrator is to warm them up...........they are fine.

Nah I get it man, I was just wondering if I had a shitty model or not, I know that heat isn't the only way to dry something out, obviously, wondering how this thing works. We talk about "thermal death" and heat degradation a lot when it comes to psychoactives, making sure I don't ruin my hard work, ya dig? Thanks!

The actives in mushrooms don't break down until FAR past 300F, while most dehydrators don't make it past 165F.
Some people boil them in water to make tea, others BBQ them on a grill.
Worry not about heat affecting potency.
