Just because they haven't germinated yet you think you will have bad results?
My azures liked ~65 degrees to colonize in, just wait it out. They will germinate, and then you'll be on your way.

Just a bad feeling. Not bad but... I just kinda feel like me being able to actually grow psychedelic mushrooms is somehow crazy and improbable. I just can't quite believe in my self I guess! Also I didn't even have vermiculite or Perlite so I didnt use that.... I am going to buy some Agar Agar tomorrow and try this method http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/10063379#10063379 with whats left of my azure syringe, I am really just hoping to just get some mycellium started so I can make an outdoor patch for fall but I decided to grow when I couldn't find one active mushroom last fall. I was so disappointed, specially as the season was drawing closer and closer to its end and me going out everyday I only found the tasty ones. BUT NOT NEXT SEASON. I dont even care if I have to buy more spores, I think I am going to try Psilocybe allenii next, they look beautiful.

Haha well yeah if theres no verm in your jars they won't work
Just make proper BRF jars and inoculate as many as you can with the rest of your syringe. I looked for a long time as well, probably around 100 hours every week for about a month and I didn't find any actives. Psilocybe Allenii's are really pretty that's for sure. I may be noccing up a few here soon along with Subaeruginosa

Nooooo!!! I heard a little mis-information then. I can keep hopes with the cardboard and WBS though. I will attempt the Pftek again tomorrow after I get everything from the store. Just looked up Subaeruginosa and I almost bought those instead of Cyans since I thought they were prettier but I decided to go with something already native to the pnw. They look really pretty though, the main reason why I wanted to find a lot of actives was actually the beauty of them. I wanted to find spots and transplant the mycelium and make what I would call a "Fungorium" (kinda like an aquarium!) which would include a rock garden where I would meditate or trip. Although I have been working on the area it wont become a true Fungorium until I can actually plant the mushrooms! Although I guess Yellowfeet are in the area already which is nice.

That sounds pretty awesome. Tripping in the woods surrounded by patches of your own fruits that you brought to life. It would be a great feeling!

When starting with a new round of wood lover genetics, simply strive to make wood spawn ASAP. Get spawn growing anyway you can but make it jump straight to wood chips. Once you have colonize wood keep it on wood and you have a lifetime supply of guerrilla spawn that you can keep planting and save sum to keep expanding. Grains will attract rodents outdoors and delay your beds fierce fruiting s.

Chips Ahoy!
The tub should reach 100% in 3-4 weeks from now If I'm lucky, either way I'll be inoculating some more chips at 1:10 spawn to substrate ratio after this colonizes. I will probably split the spawn in thirds and just make 3 of the same tubs for 3 separate grow areas.(What I plan on doing)
i am donating my cyan jars to a mycologist for microscopic purposes, I will keep 1 jar, so I will still be able to have a small patch and some fruits but this log will mainly be about them azzies!
Next year though, hopefuly I will be able to have a plethora of wood lovers, including Allenii, Subaeruginosa, Baeos, and a larger Cyan patch. I got the prints, but will save for next year!

looking tasty man . keep some back up spawn always around just in case ya know - and be sure to "re start" the spawn expansion process with your first fruiting genetics in each species using stem butts

I've got nice mycelium on agar ready to go into a syringe and into WBS or BRF PR Tek, and from there to pasteurized wood chips.
I wanted to ask what ya alls favorite grow plan is for these? WBS works good?
BRF PF Tek good for making spawn (and grinding it up in the food processor which works awesome for the cubensis.)

WBS or BRF works perfectly fine! Do the method that you feel comfortable doing, I chose to go with BRF just to keep it as simple as possible moving from PF Tek.
Good luck! Keep us updated
