I learned to spell definitely right because I noticed at some point that it's de-finitely like infinite.

one thing i do like. the lack of grammatical gender. that fell out of english mixing with french. it's not a property of french but it fell out of the mixing which resulted in the unwieldy presence of four grammatical genders which were clustered into analogously clustered into two categories

all I know is when I hear british people who sound educated saying it they say it the other way. educated sounding british people are always right
