Lion's mane abort question
    #19388232 - 01/08/14 01:36 PM (10 years, 22 days ago)

Hey Ya'll -

I had a couple lion's mane fruits abort from low RH while I was dialing in my martha setup. Pulled the yellow aborts and still ended up getting one nice large fruit out of it.

My question is should I cut new holes in the filter bag and tape over where the aborts were? Leave em alone? Its flushing again but seemingly out of only where the successful fruit was.

Thanks!

Just let it growth through the hole that is already there. Watch for any mold forming. You should get a few flushes out of it.

Remove the aborts or they will form contaminants.  You can use the same holes for fruiting subsequent flushes.

I picked the aborts about 2 weeks ago to prevent contamination and its starting to flush again - sorry if I wasn't clear.

I don't see any mold so hopefully the other holes will pin soon.

If its pinning within the bag you may need to up the humidity.
