nessesary. I don't even give a fuck. Gave up trying to spell that one right a long time ago. I'll use it in a sentence.

Is perfect spelling necessary? The fuck it is.

Heh, that actually looks right. ^^ Thanks OP, maybe it'll stick this time.

one thing i do like. the lack of grammatical gender. that fell out of english mixing with french. it's not a property of french but it fell out of the mixing which resulted in the unwieldy presence of four grammatical genders which were clustered into analogously clustered into two categories

Are you sure you don't have it set to Canadian or British English? I had both keyboards loaded on my iPad for some reason, and it is fairly easy to accidentally switch and I end up having my American spelling autocorrected to British spelling.

Stop saying definitely and necessary. We get it - and repeating the same words is definitely not necessary.

Speaking of British spellings, anyone else prefer spelling it 'grey' as opposed to 'gray'

"I before E, except after C" has a lot of exceptions, but it will help you spell basic words like "believe"

I think I remember hearing it has more exceptions than words that actually follow that rule... But I never really payed much attention.

I spelled it "definately"  for almost 20 years.

2) also the word awful.  I've spelled it "aweful" until just a few days ago

Did you mean *loathe as in hate, or did you actually mean loath? I don't think I've ever heard the second one used in a sentence before.
