Supplement Stack for Anxiety

So despite already being done with all entry level classes, I'm still sitting in a couple of massive lectures halls at school. For whatever reason, I get very nervous in these situations, and the anxiety hinders my ability to focus. I'm currently on a 3 month herb break so we'll see if that helps at all, I felt as though my smoking was escalating my anxiety a bit.
Anyway, there is plenty of natural/synthetic supplements one can take for anxiety. I'm just looking to hear from some people their experience with daily supplementing for anxiety. I've got etizolam for the really terrible occasions but I don't plan to take that daily whatsoever. Heres what I've been looking into so far:
L-Theanine (Tried it, seems to help, looking to stack it with others) 5-HTP (Still unsure if it helps anxiety, def helps sleep, taken with ECCG to prevent breakdown) L-Tyrosine (Still have yet to try it) St. Johns Wort Bacopa Monnieri Picamilon (Increases GABA levels which helps but I worry about withdrawl)
I plan on creating a stack and taking it probably 3-4 times a week, most likely as soon as I wake up which is around 8am
Any advice is appreciate, thank ya

Ohh Valerian, ya I've used it as a sleep aid several times. Never tried taking it during the day, I'll give it a go. My only problem with valerian was that when I took for 10 days in a row one time (bad jet lag, was trying to get to sleep), it ended up giving me pretty terrible headaches. I'll try it again tho, thank you for the input

How's your sleep? I've tried most of those supplements you've mentioned but the one that really had a noticeable positive effect for me is something else, melatonin. Not taken at 8am, obviously. I pop one about 10 hours before I plan to wake up, and then go to bed once I get really tired. I've found that getting a full night of sound sleep really helps a lot, along with proper diet and making sure I eat frequently enough. You might also want to ask your doctor about buspirone, a mild non-benzo anti-anxiety medication with minimal side effects. It seems to work particularly well in synergy with melatonin, for reasons which are still being investigated by researchers.
Exercise would almost certainly help too, but I'm too lazy to find out. Mindfulness meditation also has a following for treating anxiety, and cognitive-behavior therapy is the gold standard, so make sure to keep those on your short-list if this remains a problem. You can practice them all from a book, so cost shouldn't be a huge issue.
Also, if you're in university I assume you're a younger guy... I would really try to keep the smoking (and drinking) to a minimum. They do not help in the long term when you are struggling with anxiety, and especially when you are younger than ~25. Ask any heavy ex-stoner why they quit after so many years and at least half of them will mention something about anxiety.
Sorry, I know you asked about supplements and I came back with a whole bunch of other random suggestions, but a multi-faceted approach towards treating anxiety has always worked best for me. Good luck and let me know if you have questions about anything!

Could consider looking into a B Vitamin complex and SAM-E. B vitamins help with energy production and stress. SAM-E for various things ranging from mood and brain function to liver detoxification to joint strength. Supposedly in some European countries SAM-E is prescribed as an antidepressant, but it's available OTC in the states.

Thank you very much for your response man! I have noticed that both sleep and exercise play a huge role in how anxious I'm feeling. I barely drink and I normally keep the smoking to the weekends, but my shitty sleep schedule definitely negatively impacts my mood. I've been trying to get on a solid schedule where I sleep 8-9 hours a night and wake up at the same time every day, still working on that.
Melatonin is definitely helpful for falling asleep, which I struggle with as it is, but I try not to take it on a daily basis as I've heard it can become habit forming and down regulate melatonin production in the brain. Have you heard anything about this?
Meditation is another exercise I definitely want to get involved with this year. I've been meaning to start for a long time.
I'm gonna try a stack of 5-HTP, Green Tea Extract, L-Theanine, and Valerian Root in the next hour or so and see how I feel goin into my lecture hall. Obviously I could experience a placebo effect but this problem has been goin on for a while now, I think itll be pretty obvious to me if it helps.
Thanks again for the response

To be honest, I find that supplements end up making me more anxious.

I think there is no permanent supplemental treatment for anxiety. Everything you put into your body has a rebound effect, and if not, neuroplasticity develops and tolerance goes through the roof.
I'd suggest meditation, lots of sleep, and exercise. Maybe put yourself in semi-awkward social settings to get the jist of how to work it out on your own.
I'm anxious too. I just don't think everything can be treated with supplements.
Good vibes!

I have found that some of the Test Boosters out there work really well for anxiety and overall attitude and mood
I cycle TestFreak every 6 weeks and take 2 weeks off, and I definitely notice a difference after I get back into a cycle. Focus is higher, Anxiety is lower, Sex drive is higher, Mood is elevated. Pretty solid stuff
As Ythan said, Melatonin works great as well for a natural supplement that promotes healthy sleep

I use passion flower and green tea daily. Works wonders for general anxiety. Not perfect of course but it is what I have available to me.

Yea melatonin forgot about this but he asked for anxiety but they all are interconnected. A good brand of melatonin like the liquid stuff is the best. Chlorella is good too has lost of b vitamins and magesesium In it.

Except for the first one, all the panic attacks I've had were precipitated by coffee. Fortunately, it's been ten years and I can now slam down a couple cups a day no problem.
