Gymnopilus sp. Panaeolus cinctulus Panaeolus cyanescens Psilocybe gallaeciae Psilocybe hispanica
Where do I find these last three species? Especially the hispanica, I have never heard of that. Looks like they only grow in Aragon. Hmmm
Quote:
In Guzmán's original report, they were found in a Pyrenean meadow in Aragon, at an elevation of 2,300 metres (7,500 ft). In 2003, the species was reported from Tramacastillo de Tena, a small village in the Pyrenees; it was also reported to have "penetrated the French part of the Pyrenees". Within its restricted range, the mushroom is "very common" at altitudes of 1,700 to 2,300 m (5,600 to 7,500 ft).[5]
I found a picture of one, supposedly on the left

Salamanca is nice. Certainly make your way over to Zamora as well, should you find the time. If you ever plan a future Spanish expedition, check out some of the islands. Tenerife and Gran Canaria are gorgeous, interesting, and in proximity to other intriguing destinations.

Ibiza's a boring tourist trap, but if you want to go party for a few days you could do worse. Aside from its overbearing reputation as a nightlife hotspot, there's a lot of cool shit outside of that to see as well.
Spain's broken down into several distinct regions, each with their own culture and a few being very markedly different from the others. Of interest are Galicia, Aragó, and Catalunya, but those are by no means the only places of interest in the entire country. My advice is to pick one region and explore from there.

It's an incredible place to party with the best beaches I've ever been to in my life. The vibe is surreal.

I mean, no doubt it's a wonderful place to party, but when I'm contemplating overseas travel I like to think beyond the party appeal. But to each your own, and your mileage may vary.
Depends on what you're looking for in a trip, I suppose.
