Is liquid nail safe for hepa filter?

I'm about to the point of sealing my hepa filter in the wooden hood I made and was curious if liquid nail is safe to use to bond the steel frame of the filter to the box. I've used it in the past for other reasons so I know it will bond and hold fine but I'm not sure if the fumes from it will damage the filter medium at all or possibly affect the agar when using the hood.
Any information about this is much appreciated!

i would use silicone. if you ever need to change out the filters it will be a lot easier to cut than liquid nails.

Very true, I didn't even think about if I needed to remove the filter.
Thanks for the answer! I should hopefully have it complete tonight after I get the silicone.

100 percent silicone remains flexible and waterproof unlike liquid nails

Very true! I've been working a lot lately so my brains a little fried and I jumped the gun asking about the liquid nail .-. It's all together now and is working great with no leaks.
I ordered a ton of supplies from Myco supply which will be here Monday then I can finally start my agar ventures
Thanks again for the replies, they're much appreciated everyone!
