4 Jars with un-even growth, Need advice on when to birth!

Hi everyone!
Frist off, let me say thanks to the community for all the help during my first grow! Also, Happy New Year!! 2014!!
I have 4 jars that were knocked up on the 9th of December. The substrate is rye, the temperature has been constant at around 73-75 degrees. I shook around 30-40% and it did help a bit. The jars are even on top and bottom except for one of the sides on each jar.
My questions are as follows:
1. I have some un-even growth, I am wondering if they will fill in with more time. It just seems like it has been a while and I am not seeing the same rate of progress.
2. If you look at the close up photo, there seems to be an amber colored bead of liquid on top of the mycelium. What is this stuff, is it just the mushroom digesting the rye and this is a by-product of the growth???
3. How much longer do you think I should wait?
4. If I do birth early(like next week) into a mono with coir/verm, will I be ok?
Jar #1 (good side)

Jar #1 (bad side)

Jar #2 (good side)

Jar #2 (bad side)

Jar #3 (good side)

Jar #3 (bad side)

Jar #4 (good side)

Jar #4 (bad side)

Jar #4 (amber liquid)(what is it?)(I hope its not a contaminant)

Thanks!!!!

I just read that some big jars can stall out??
Could this be the case in my jars? Just to clarify they are 1 Quart. It has been 30 days since inoculation.

he said he shook around 30-40%
OP this is why I personally don't shake until 50-60% but hey that's just me. Give them another shake and make sure it's nice and even.

I skimmed over the post. Just Looking at the pics it looks like they needed to be shook.

I have read that shaking close to the end can be harmful, also RR has said that he only shakes once? But like many things on the forms it is anecdotal. From your experience can shaking at this stage be harmful or can it help out.
Thanks!

The yellow liquid is just metabolites.
Shake those jars now even though we usually recommend only one shake. They should be done already, so give them one more shake. If they're healthy, within a week they should be fully white. RR

One last question as a contingency plan. What to do if in a week they are not fully colonized.
Can I spawn to coir/verm and hope that it is strong enough to colonize. What I want to prevent is my jars from stalling and loosing a months work. I rather throw them into a mono and hope for the best. Will it just take a bit longer to consolidate and may risk some contamination?

If they stall, toss them out. I didn't see any obvious bacteria or mold so if they have gas exchange holes and filters they should recover from the shake. RR

Yes they have filters for gas exchange, I will toss if they stall... bummer.

Here is a pic of what the top looks like, These are out-grow jars. I have heard of other members complaining about stall outs with these jars. Could it be that there is not enough gas exchange from the available filter.
here is a picture

They are 0.22µm gas exchange filters.

Just shook all the jars, will keep you all updated with the results. Fingers crossed, I hope they recover and do not stall.

yes it's your lids, those are syringe filters and only good for lc's, not enough gas exchange for grain jars

i wouldn't go that route, maybe try sterilize new lids wrapped in foil and take it to your sab and switch lids but even that sounds risky, maybe just wait on more opinions for now as i'm at a loss for ideas but you made it this far you may be able to just wait it out, maybe take them to yur sab and just crack the lid real quick and put it back on, but like i said wait for more oinions
