If only I could find rye now... All the shops out here that have it only have the kind of rye you brew with. not sure if that will work.

tons of dextrose, Malt extract on the other not atm. How ever it's not even a 5 mile drive to my local home brew shop.
I have tons of hops that I need to get rid of at least 20 pounds can I grow on them? I doubt it because there acidic, I'll probably end up composting them. I got a 25 pound bag from Schlafely of pellet hops Hersbrucker to be exact. It was hard enough using five-ish pounds. they have been in my freezer in vacuum sealed bags for like 3 years now.

What? You can grow on anything, give it a shot
Add ph buffers and lots of spawn, could make a fun novelty grow

This is what I purchased and I was wondering if I rinsed it then soaked it for 24 hours,  boil it for ten minutes then strain for maybe five all while shaking the strainer? would this be adequate in hydrating the cereal?
I feel like this stuff will crumble up nicely for spawning. Probably why it caught my eye.

I think it was Roadkill that said this but I agree with him " If your going to grow on something that hasn't been used or your not sure just do it. Experimenting and trying new grains is fun."
I'm going to use this shit since I paid for it.

I've heard verm in rye will cause in vitro pinning. But could crushed perlite be used to aerate this fine grain mix?
