the neighbors probably heard you fighting with your cat and couldn't resist letting him hide at their place. you need to learn a lesson, not the cat.

I know cats need whiskers for proximity calculations but I didn't know negative reinforcement didn't work on cats that way. I'll probably won't cuddle with him where I don't want him to shit. I looked it up he probably shit on my bed because he wants to leave his scent or something (he's really comfortable when he cuddles with me)

if you really want to punish a cat, you have to do what another cat would do. you could hiss at it, give a soft brush/slap across his face without hurting him, or the same on the but, both meant to startle, not hurt. even a squirt bottle will piss a cat off and they will do horrible things to get back at you. yes, cats are the best at revenge.
if this cat does come back, he will be plotting a cat turd in your face. it will be executed so that you are actually the one who puts the cat shit on your own face. at least he'll get a good laugh out of it.

Hey, no offense, but how does animal abuse differ from teaching your child lessons? Leaving a cat outside the house isn't similar to locking your son out of the house because he's done something shitty? Okay, letting him dry off in the cold weather could result in hypothermia stupid me water heat capacities etc etc etc hes going to fucking freeze. Look it was a mistake brought on by my mood swings. If you could bring that understanding from animals to humans and sympathize with them if they were having a shit week or something that would be fine, but who would want to hear my boring backstory?
You can't explain understanding to a cat, I don't know enough about cat psychology to understand if cats understand if we are upset or if their narcissism doesn't allow them to see beyond what they want. So you can either spoil the little fuck or teach about things that you don't find desirable.
I don't think he had a bad meal, he never really shits on the floor but he frequently shits on the bed when I cuddle with him. He also really likes my comforter.
Okay, so no more negative reinforcement. Also no more cuddles in bed for kitty.
I know I come off as a dick in this post but I really don't like being provoked.

YOU RUBBED HIS FACE IN SHIT (BIG NO, YOU COULD HAVE JUST PICKED THE SHIT OFF OF THE BED, THEN YOU WOULDNT HAVE A HUGE MESS)

THEN YOU PROCEEDED TO ATTEMPT TO BATHE HIM (BIG NO, EVERY IDIOT KNOWS CATS DESPISE THIS)
and then you threw him outside, without even drying him off?
i hope you don't find him and someone else gives him a loving home.

you can't blame your disregard to other living things on your MOOD SWINGS. would beating a woman be okay just because youre having a MOOD SWING?! teach her a lesson?!

You shouldn't be putting your animal through shit in the first place. You don't own a pet to tease it or whatever. And there are more humane ways to train them than that.
Understand that it's an animal. They don't know the difference. It's not like it thought about the best place to take a dump beforehand.
