cat homicides are becoming a consistently increasing problem in most of the country. I think it's time that it's properly addressed. But noooo, Obama won't do shit!

Cat on cat crime is a problem in OP's hood, could be a catnip deal gone bad.

Yeah I don't miss having to clean up puke constantly, having to finish off animals that she was too lazy/twisted to finish killing, or constant meowing and getting underfoot.
I should mention that my cat was especially weird. Non-allergic people loved it when they visited because it was super friendly, but they had no idea what it was like to live with such an absurd and selfish creature.

Hey man, i've got 2 cats and honestly I don't think you overshot the mark that much. I mean yeah, you probably over did it by forcing actual contact with the shit. I probably would have held its face about an inch or two away from the shit for about 20 seconds so it could get a good whiff of it. All the while i'd be shouting loudly and sternly at it. That probably would have been sufficient imo. Don't feel too bad though. How long have you had the cat? Thats quite important. If I had the cat for a few years then the above method like I said would have been ok. If it's only a few months probably would have just shouted at it, nothing more.

i hope you don't find him and someone else gives him a loving home.
Umm, my cat LOVES baths and he doesn't like wet cat food so you're like, two strikes on the second page alone.
But, then again, my cat thinks hes a dog so who knows.

He is still not back, I put up flyers everywhere in my apartment this afternoon, I left my cat's bed outside. I can't believe this happened in 30 minutes he was outside. And to all you guys going against me getting him back: fuck you, and I'm glad you got what you fucking wanted. Maybe I shouldn't have done drugs to destabilize my mood, usually I am not this kind of person.
Thank you the rest of you for the support I'm really feeling down right now. :'(

You smeared your cats face in shit?
It aint a dog man, cats have bitchy personalities, they don't take well to negative reinforcement. It also aint unheard of animals leaving for a day or two, so calm down.
I dunno why you put your cat out in the cold though, that is just mean. Maybe you hurt your cats feelings and it ran away?

yeah dude you're cat probably hated the fact you smeared shit in his face and poured water on him, then when you let him outside he dipped. I doubt he'll come back unless he really gets hungry. Sorry but that was kind of a stupid thing to do, cats don't really realize they are being punished when you smear shit in their face...I'm sure you realize this now.

I took in a stray living at a friends unwanted. I was moving at the time so it had to live in the truck with me. I spent a couple nights in town at another friends and it got out and ran off the first night. There was a dozen cats on the block. I put food on the truck and did a bunch of meowing. We meow... I heard her on the roof of a neighbors and ran over and she ran over and jumped down on me. On the road she tried to run under my legs as I was driving and I had to grab the nape of her neck and chucked her up on the seat. She left me alone to drive then later that night while I was sleeping I woke up to her on my chest for a sec and rolled over. That morning I look in the mirror and see a cut across my nose.. She got even.

I dunno. Aren't cats known for being fickle and flaky? There was a cat that came to my door once when I lived in Georgetown in DC and I took him in and called the number on his collar. The guy who answered lived over a mile away, but he said for me to just put him outside and he'll make his way home when he wants to come home. I guess cats are pretty street wise - you don't see many dead cats on the side of the road.

yeah its not uncommon at all for them to just run away and become feral. they are excellent hunters and most do just fine on their own. If it wants to come back, it will.
