I've been told the opposite my entire life. What the fuck.

No, I wish.
Dang, I'm pretty sure I feel something whenever I just think of how hot/spicy a food item might be.

Are you talking about the difference between the red and green sauces at mexican restaurants? Yea, the green one is hotter between the two. But yea, red chile peppers have more capscaicin
And if I have a migraine, spicy food helps me stop clenching my teeth and start feeling better. Plus, if you aren't feeling an endorphin rush every time you eat, you're doing it wrong You probably just can't notice it. The endorphins from spicy food are the same as eating any food, they just add more to it.
Just my .02
My shits only burn periodically. Your body gets used to spiciness/capscaicin, b-hole included.

I was always told red>green in hotness with regard to everything. I don't base my diet around that though and rarely use any green sauces at all.

Wait, did I say something wrong in my posts? oops Red IS hotter. Well, habaneros are orange, and even hotter But most chile peppers start out green, but turn red near harvest time. As they turn red, they get hotter, but lose some of the vegetal flavors

I never eat hot/spicy food. The only thing I eat that is considered somewhat hot is Frank's red hot on like chicken and stuff.
I hate spicy food.
Do you notice any kind of endorphin rush from eating spicy/hot food?
