SGFC FAE Question

Hello all, I'm on my first grow using RR's BRF Tek. I spent the better part of a year doing research before I began this hobby and I believe that up to this point, I have done everything correctly. My question is in regards to my SGFC (1/4 in holes, every 2 in, all 6 sides). I currently have it in a corner of my room (6+ inches from nearby walls) and it is propped up about 2 inches. Underneath it is an open rubbermaid tote in order to catch any water/perlite that may leak out. Will this open tote underneath my fc interfere with fae? I didn't realize until now that this may be hard to picture, so I can take a picture of my setup if need be. I searched past posts, but I couldn't find anything pertaining to this situation. Thanks for the help, folks.

It sounds to be fine... I would probably use the lid of the tote its on and raise it off of the lid.
Lid will catch it all just the same.

Thanks for the help; I have no clue where the lid disappeared to, but I may try to find a substitute. Here's the pic of what I'm working with.

Well now... If you only got that one cake in there put it in the middle.
And you should get rid of the cardboard, use the lid to catch anything, and raise that puppy about 5" off of the lid and you should be golden.

Great, thank you I appreciate it. I have about 10 more jars which hit full colonization about a week ago. I wanted to use this guy as a preliminary cake to make sure my sgfc was up to snuff.
Edit: I just flipped the tote and my fc is now elevated by 4 jars. I'm now wondering, will these jars hinder air flow since they are blocking some holes?

It'll be fine, but in my experience, if you're going to be using that sgfc for a long time, that you kind of rake the bottom every once and awhile. I left mine for like two weeks and I washed it out and found all the holes were closed off by some nasty perlite, so the air really wasn't getting through it. Just a little tip from my experience.
