welll, against the advice of getting rid of it, i just let it be for a long time and just checked on it today, kinda forgot about it because i have since moved on! but guess what i found when i looked at it

Theres a good 8 or 9 pins. So to give her a dieing chance i just through some wet perilite in the bottom of a cut 2-liter and put her away for now.

Be sure to poke some holes below the perlite. You want the air to pass through it.

ok, makes sense thank you. Should i leave the pins that were forming in the jar on the cake? or are they harmful to future pins? will they get bigger? I dont know how long they have been chilling in the jar.

Yes they'll usually be fine even if you dunk the cake after birthing with them still attached. Though some may fall off in the process those that stay on will often grow to become the largest mushrooms if you let them.

Well the fruits grew a bit then stopped. Should i pick them, THEN dunk and roll? Woud this be beneficial and maybe save this cake?
