B + harvesting technique question

Hi I'm new to this so just a quick question I was wondering about harvest as it seems to be something that I can't find an answer too.
More often than not when I'm growing flushes of B+ I seem to find that lets say that 50% of shrooms grow at the same rate yet the other 50% seem to never get past an inch , some are connected to the correctly growing ones and some are separate.
What I was wondering is will these shrooms not grow any larger once the bigger ones are removed, is there some method where I could trim off the larger ones whilst leaving the small ones to grow to maturity or is this not an option? I will try and post some pics displaying what I'm talking about.
All input is gratefully received cheers

just snip em as low as you can w/o disturbing the others that arent as mature in the cluster.

I do not snip the cap, I just separate it from the others and just pull it out. I do not cut, I twist and pull. I will end up picking one flush in 20 or 3 waves because of diff maturing times

Yeah generally I do always twist and pull but I was finding that when I had a cluster it would remove everything including the tiny un-mature shrooms, which is why I thought maybe trimming could be a good way forward?

Don't remove the tiny dormant pins though if you can help it. They'll grow in later flushes. You can even leave those on when you redunk the substrate.

The only trepidation I have with trimming is that there will alwyas be stem left over, will whatever's left not mould and ruin future flushes?

This is a great thread. I learn something new every day on this forum. I can't wait to really get into things. Sorry to hijack the thread, but I just wanted to say thanks too!

No worries its something I was unsure of as this is my first grow (about 6 flushes in) I'm currently using a grow kit, I know some people slate them but for a noob grower this has been an invaluable learning curve for growing and taking mushrooms, good luck with your grow
