This is coming from a Conor fan, but all this Nate is scared bullshit is CRAZY.
Dude is a professional mma fighter. He is socially awkward and has been for YEARS. He's also not the brightest dude in the world, and it's a known fact that he HATES interviews and being the center of attention. just because he's not as witty as Conor doesn't mean he's in the least bit scared of the man.
granted, fighters get scared before fights, but they get scared because they know they're about to get into a fist fight, not because they go into a fight saying "I'm gonna get my ass beat." Outside of forest griffin vs Anderson silva, there's not many fighters I know who assume defeat before the fight starts.

Nate dips his head down while throwing his 1-2 so I'm predicting Connor gets an uppercut knockout.

i dunno i forgot think it was from that first press conference they did, he was talking about diaz's weakness's and he named 2 shots he was going to do, then i think they asked him what round he would knock him out and he wouldn't say, think he was sayin some shit like he was going to play with him a bit and depended on how in shape diaz was.
he's also said a few times that diaz has multiple injurys, or maybe he was saying not injuried but bad, like i think he said a bum leg or knee? something like that. but he was clearly letting diaz know that he knew about things that were wrong with him or weakness's

Nobody said Diaz was scared of Connor, ever. I did say that other people were scared of him, Dos Anjos specifically.
What I did say about Diaz, is that he isn't confident like he normally is. You can tell that Connor is in his head. Of course he's not scared.

I'd be a lot more excited for this if Diaz didn't take the fight on a few days notice. I really think that negates a lot of the analysis people have been making about the match-up of the skill-sets. Probably another KO or TKO for McGregor. I'd like to see it make it out of the first round or have some wrestling and jiu jitsu. If not,
Holm vs Tate is a bit more interesting, IMO.

Conor McGregor is the Donald Trump of MMA. He is lauded for "speaking his mind," spends much of his time flaunting his financial status compared to his opponents, and love him or hate him, people consistently tune in to watch.

Any of you guys find a good site to stream the fight tonight?
I can usually find anything, but I can't seem to find a stable one.

Everything I've found has lagged tonight. It could be because I'm at someone else's house and their internet is slow as shit.
Props to Meisha.

Yea the internet is pretty weak here too.
It was lagging bad enough for me to turn it off earlier.
But now I want to check it out again lol.

The Diaz brothers are notorious for weathering the early storm and hopping on the bicycle afterwards. Those guys are cardio freaks. Most people gas at some point, Connor gassed early after eating a few solid strikes.

Well that delivered. Diaz's size and experience worked out for him. And McGregor presumably learned a thing about weight classes.

that was bittersweet for me.
I wanted conor to win, but at the same time his cockiness and arrogance was becoming overbearing. I wanted him to get humbled, but possibly in a fight where more was at stake. he lost a fight against diaz which in the grand scheme of things means nothing.
props to diaz though. and epic post fight interview.
joe rogan : "nate diaz, you just shook up the world. how does it feel?"
nate : "uhh, im not surprised mother fuckers."
