I see what you're saying, but watch this video of an interview with them two.
There is nothing awkward about that. That is ultimate confidence/getting in your opponents head. That shit was straight gangster.

Yea I thought so too. Dillashaw had no answer. I agree that cruz sounds like a douche talking trash but oh well, he is in T.J's head for real.

Yeah they played that during UFC 195. That's actually exactly what I was thinking of when I thought of Dominick Cruz being douchey/awkward. He's talking shit about stuff that has nothing to do with the fight, like TJ's relationship to Alpha Male.
I like Dominick Cruz when he's fighting and doing commentary, but his trash talk just sounds clunky and douchey to me.

They both seem like junior high school Internet trolls. I was waiting for one of them to bring up Stalin and the other to talk about straw man and false equivalence.

There are rare instances where I would call for an immediate rematch. Machida vs. Shogun. Edgar vs. Penn
And this. Personally, I ignored the commentary and saw TJ Dillashaw score on octagon control, agression, and significant strikes. I saw Cruz backpedal, grab three takedowns, and little else.
I had my money on Cruz and still think he should have lost a decision. But I was several beers in as a spectator at a bar. Think an immediate rematch wouldn't be shameful.

I thought Dillashaw won. He dropped bigger bombs more often.
What about Matt Matrione's eye? That was nasty and weird looking. That looked like the kind of black eye that leaves permanent damage. Speaking of that Cruz is lucky he's so wee because his legs are going to be forever gimp.

Seriously, Cruz is not going to have a championship reign. Either he's genetically unlucky and/or he trains poorly.
The whole world is happy he won because they wanted a comeback story.
Bottom line: if Robbie Lawler gets a split over Carlos Condit, TJ should get a 50-45 unanimous. Jesus.
Side note: Paul Felder is the shit.

Damn Mitrione's eye got jacked up!
And I thought Dillashaw won the fight as well. For all the reasons stated above. Im so sick of these guys getting points for "take-downs" or "control" when they AREN'T DOING SHIT! If Alvarez buries his fucking head into Pettis's dick against the fence and holds him there for 5 minutes, he isn't winning the fight in my book. I know they score them round by round, but Im tired of guys getting rounds based on the simple fact that they took a guy to the ground briefly. Its one thing if you hold him down and do ACTUAL DAMAGE, but if he immediately scrambles back to his feet before anything goes on, there shouldn't be much weight put on that.
Cruz and Alvarez both won on technicalities, and both took more damage than their opponents. Both of them looked beat-up after the fight, while T.J. and Anthony showed little signs that they had even been fighting.

Thinking about placing a $300 bet on Dos Anjos over McGregor. I'm waiting to see how the odds are closer to the fight but I suspect they'll almost be even. In reality I think Dos Anjos should be the huge favorite and will ground and pound McGregor out within 3 rounds. I'm a big Conor fan but Dos Anjos is a bad match up for him. With all that said there is of course a decent chance McGregor catches RDA coming in and finishes the fight

Cyborg has been busy knocking people out.
Bones Jones is busy training
Romero popped for steroids (you don't say!)
Dos Anjos and Holm are favorites.
Werdum pulled out and now the Hendrix fight will be the main fight and its gonna be on Fox sports 1

I'm not a bones fan at ALL, but that's just silly dude.
He didn't disappear, he got suspended for smashing his car into a pregnant woman and running away. You'd be surprised at the results athletes can get when they stop smoking pot, drinking, n sniffing cocaine on a regular basis.
