The enemy unmasked, "Positive thinking"
    #19377125 - 01/06/14 12:26 PM (10 years, 25 days ago)

This video states the importance of realism over optimism, simply put.

That would be the third time in my life Icelander agreed with something I said.

There is difference between being happy because one ignores negativity and being happy because one is acceptant and content of negagivity.

--------------------
And thus begins the  reverse-fusing of our one-dimentional understanding, and adds ever-expanding perspectives, in depth and number; splitting our perception, and in so doing, seemingly irrationally, creates yet more one-ness, with all that ever was, is and will ever be, streching across the infinite, inunderstood concept of everything, percievable and not.

You're still young.  I'll bet I agree with you on more than you might guess.

If I wanted to cheat I could pull up our conversation we had like a year ago on some unknown thread, but that is a lot of effort, so we will attempt the psychic method.

I bet you like cheese and craft beers.

Don't like any beer.  Cheese   One out of two hardly makes you psychic. :haha:

As an Oregonian this saddens me, but beer is only 10% of what life is about, cheese is the other 90%, so you still got the whole 90%, right?  Some day we should make road trip to Tillamook.

I know you scared, you should ask us if we scared too.  If you was there, and we just knew you cared too.

My gf long ago when I first came out here worked at a Cheese company in Crescent City in CA way up north ,  Rumiano cheese  Co.  She would bring home fresh curds almost daily and I, being very poor just about lived on those things.  That and Uncle Sams cereal, sprouted and steamed lentils and fresh caught Cutthroat trout from the Smith River.  That's seriously about all I ate for 9 months.  Oh and home made bread.  Good days to remember.

You started your venture out West somewhere in NorCal I gather? I started in Seattle, and have been working my way down.  I sometimes wonder if I'd be better off at least quasi off the grid again.  Up to this point it's a coin toss as to the most fun I've had in life - maybe my small college town, maybe Seattle.  I vastly appreciated the camaraderie and conversation in school, yet infinitely more culture and sex in Seattle.  Portland has been a happy medium between the two that works, yet I sometimes think surely this can't be the end of the road.  One would hope it really wouldn't matter at all where you live, but rather where you're psychologically at.  Then again, sometimes I'm not so sure - where I live rather does make an impact on what I appreciate in life, at least at this point in time.

I've given up on finding any sort of home for the time being, just moving on.

My home is the road, and I love it, and Icelander how can anyone not like craft beers..... someone needs to develop some more sophisticated tastes.

I started in No. Cal. and went to Seattle for 11 years.  Those were very good times but eventually I wore out my welcome.  Now I've been in small town So. Oregon for 26 years and may end the adventure here.  Had I more friends opportunities with the opposite sex I would have stayed in the RedWoods.  It's pretty amazing down there if you're the outdoor type.

I do not watch any sport, but for all the talk of the government having them play with balls to keep them acting like monekys, I am a professional street performer, and I juggle and hand balance to make ends meet.

I'm not gonna pretend I get the meaning of that, so next psychic affirmation, you absolutely share my obsession with finding and taking viable prints from stunzii.
