My cakes are bright blue! (Pics) help please
    #19377016 - 01/06/14 11:54 AM (10 years, 1 month ago)

This a one of my brf golden teacher cakes after the first flush. I decided to leave it one more day to see if the lingering pins would grow more. So today when I went to check on it this it what if looked like! Is this mold, bruising, dryness? There is no blue on the parts with verm or on the surrounding perlite. And none of the other cakes have shown signs of being effected. I have since isolated this cake.

Looks like it was sprayed with alcohol instead of water.

Good news is, it does looks like it's blueing not mold, but I could be wrong, because I am a noob.

That's not really necessary from what I have read here on this forum. I've seen plenty of fully grown flushes that look amazing and still have all their black little aborts still intact.

Those aborts can grow mold. Remove them when you harvest each flush.
