So I had a baggie of a little under a gram of 4-AcO-DMT where it was stored in a closet that averages 60 degrees F but recently dropped to around 45-55 because of the cold winter. It has since changed into a pastey, melted looking texture rather than a more powdery/clumpy texture like it was when i got it. I also had some in capsules and the same thing happened and it looks glued flat to the side rather than the little clumps it used to be . Will this still be active? I have no idea what these changes might do to the substance or how it happened.

Im pretty sure its still active. I've had regular N,N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT) that came out in a oily substance after the crystals have sat for a bit. It was still very active. SBut hey im no expert

Sounds like it is a freebase and not fumarate. If this is the case, then it may have lost potency. 4-aco-dmt in freebase form tends to not be as stable as fumarate. BUT, if you do end up trying it, take what you would normally take because it is possible that it lost no potency.

Have the same thing as you OP, my powder (fumarate) also become brownish almost black! Got it for a year or two, sealed in amber glass vial in low temperature area. Will it still be good ?
