However, the one exception in that is low light or night shots... unless you bring good lighting or have super sensitive film.. or crank your iso up all the way to "extra-'grainy"... Flashes are tricky, I like to experiment with flash filters.. usually in the form of papers and cloths of different colors.

How far south did you have to go to find Boletus dryophilus?

Cool! You should totally save a collection to scope.
Also, can you answer my question I asked at MO about those Psathyrella? What color were the immature gills?

Pretty much everything about the observation you linked looks different IMO, from the gills to the cap color/striations etc... The colors in the linked observation probably aren't completely accurate but they do appear different.

Omphalotus olivascens

Some kind of Tricholoma

Suillus, maybe Suillus fuscotomentosus?

Amanita sect. Vaginatae

Pholiota spumosa group

Gymnopilus sp.

Floccularia albolanaripes. Anyone ever tried these? I should have brought them home for dinner.

Oh yea, the Panaeolus in my garden box are maturing nicely

I know, I know, I shouldn't use direct sunlight to light my photos. I'll make the next set better.
