Had a nice hunt last weekend up around 6500-7000ft. The Floccularia albolanaripes were out in mass, it was crazy. I forgot my remote shutter release though, don't judge me.
Hey it's Gymmie boy

Floccularia albolanaripes & Mycena pura. The mosquitoes were intense for this one.

Inocybe sp.

Hygrophorus subalpinus, Cortinarius sp. & Tricholoma vernaticum

Leucoagaricus? I dunno.

Clitopilus nitellinus

Just the way I like my puffballs, slimy

Chromosera cyanophylla

Vanessa cardui

Veratrum californicum

I had never heard of the Clitopilus nitellinus, pseudotsuga dropped that ID.

Damn dude! Badass shots, that looks like an amazing place to hunt mushrooms and hike. I gotta get back out to Cali one of these days.
I'm a big fan of the Ganoderma genus, those are really cool finds. Do you think they could be Ganoderma resinaceum?

Did you find the Tricholomopsis in mulch? Is that typical?

They were growing terrestrially under conifers, which is why my first guess was actually Rugosomyces onychinus.

I took a small piece to clone but other than that no.
Anyone have an opinion on these? I have found these in town twice now, both spots in grass under redwoods.

I suggested on MO that I thought they could be something like Marasmius calhouniae, but I'm pretty sure I'm wrong... I really don't know what I'm talking about- I guess a lot of the time.
