Narrow mouth is actually preferred if you plan to make g2's from your grain masters. Re: easier to transfer.

lid wall and bottom doesn't even have to be hole free we have silicone for that

Just saying you can use any sealing container. I probably should have placed a comma between bottom and doesn't ...
Now that I look at it more I really left that open to interpretation...
The lid can have a hole ...we can call it an injection port if we use silicone ..... or we just close it off cuz agar/g2g is better

any size mouth will work for seed, I use small mouth jars for seed and wide mouth for brf.
