Strange dots on fruit bodies
    #19373549 - 01/05/14 03:44 PM (10 years, 1 month ago)

It's probably just bruising because it's not a growth on the exterior of the tissue... I've never seen it before though.  Anyone else seen this before on their fruits?

I'm gonna eat it regardless lol

Yo soy mucho curious

Nope, it's definitely not on the exterior tissue.

Verticillium possibly???

It's kind of strange. It's a PE isolate grown from a monotub. There was plenty of FAE and none of the other fruits showed any signs of contams.

I've seen fruits express this trait many times before. I don't think it's contamination, but a type of birth mark you could say.

It would be kind of biased for me to agree with you cuz I wanna eat the damn thing lol...

But I really feel like the fruit is safe.

No funky smells. It wasn't slimey. It didn't rub off. It didn't spread to any other fruits and I'm already on the 3rd flush.

However, I set it aside after drying it out just to be safe.
