I'm sure I could get a lot more out of these, but I'm not going to spawn to bulk for a number of reasons - thanks for the input though Nota.
Given that I am just going to straight case, can I case given these jars are not pure white mycelium? Is it ok that the bird seed is still quite visible?

Well, my 2 cents, possibly dunk and tray them. After full colonization. The wide mouth jars shouldn't be too hard, but the shouldered jar is going to be a bitch.

They look great except for the whole too full part, lol. Could you possibly pour some of the grain out in a SAB? Idk. However I'm sure you'll find a way of working it out. Good luck and keep updating!

I went ahead and cased all the colonized substrate and ended up with a lot more than I expected. After casing I placed them back at 80 degrees for further colonization - it has been a week but none of the mycelium has peaked through the casing layer yet. Should I just place them in the FC at this point or keep incubating until 20% mycelium covers the casing layer?
Also, in looking at the casings I noticed a few yellow droplets in the GT tub and was wondering if you guys knew what this is?

do i need to be concerned about the metabolites? i read they are a sign of stress as well as normal excretion of waste? which is right?

So it has been 12 days since casing. The first pic shows metabolites in the GT casing I was concerned about, and I now seen signs of them in the second pic of OI.
After 12 days of incubation after casing, there is still next to no mycelium showing in the casing layer of all my casings. Is it ok to continue to incubate these? Should I just place in the FC at this point?
Also, that extra colonized OI was placed in a zip lock (last pic) - thinking about trying an outdoor mini-grow with it. What do you guys think?
Thanks for the help and guidance fellas.

That's a bummer - what do you recommend I do with these cronicr?
Should I fruit the rest at this point?

I went ahead and cased that GT with the metabolites showing.
cronicr, you think these will be ok?

wanted to provide an update on the GT.
there are also 2 pics of KS.
the OI has not yet started pinning, even though it was the most aggressive colonizer.
Everything look ok so far guys?
