Webiste with info on all species and varieties of Trichocereus
    #19368864 - 01/04/14 03:36 PM (10 years, 1 month ago)

I'm wondering if there is a website that someone knows of that has all the different species and varieties of trichocereus out there.  There seems to be a lot of scattered information around the web on different types.

Thanks!

Hmm.  After looking through them they don't really go over the different monstrose or variegated types.

The reason I ask and I'll probably to an i.d. request to be sure is that I have a "San Pedro" but it really looked similar to a peruvianus variety I saw posted here months ago.

This can be useful too, also from cactiguide. A list of synonyms, linking to entries.

Tricho serious ethnobotany is a good resource on various named clones and crosses.

There is a great mystery or two in the Tricho family. Dna analysis would help. As someone interested in the San Pedro family, I have found that just this small group of Trichos is incredibly complicated to understand.
Also, I wonder if there is a lot of information that is only in Spanish.
