I have an ATL#7 syringe and am planning to produce some sclerotia, butin the interest of making additional spore prints to keep them going / give aways I want to fruit some also. Is the age old PF Tek a good method for this like it is with cubes?

Instead of spore prints this is much easier:

Colonize a quart jar of rye berries with your species of choice. Shake well to break up the individual kernels of grain. Allow to recover for a day or two just until the kernels begin to turn white again, and then add a pint of sterilized water to the jar and shake well. Pour this water into your flask and add up to three times the volume of sterilized water and allow to stir for a few days. Fill your syringes and use. You can store this water, even in the syringes for at least two years in the refrigerator and use whenever needed.
I'm still using a batch of syringes I made in May 2007, and once injected into grains or brf cakes, they take right off. RR
For your jar lid you can use a layer of tyvek with a dab of silicone for a self healing injection port to inject the sterile water and then draw it back out.
Here's another good thread to read
Storing mycelium long term in distilled water works great!

Be careful, that is a glc. Some members don't like the glc. Make sure to test your glc, make sure you didn't get a contam.
I'm sure rr is doing everything in front of a flow hood when making a glc and syringes.
