I haven't had any real experience with edibles. What would be the easiest edible to make? I can't cook/bake anything for shit, sadly.

One really simple introduction to edibles for those that can't cook is to go and find a Brownie mix from the homecooking isle. Any box of cakemix or similar that needs oil added at some stage. It's the fats in oil that will dissolve the THC for you.
Make cannabutter/oil by gently heating weed and butter/oil for a few mins. Then use this as normal in the cooking. You could literally just spread it on toast if you were really lazy.
The packets of brownie mixes are great for the first time because at least you can be certain the end product will taste nice. They often come with a lil cardboard sleeve that you can bake it in if you don't have a brownie tray.
My personal preference is chocolate truffles. You melt your preferred chocolate and mix with cream and butter then roll into balls when cooled and coat in cocoa. It's really simple to make, store for long time, can be portioned very easily to small doses and they taste AMAZING. You can add food flavourings like orange or mint or sprinkles add variety. The recipe is as simple as 2 parts chocolate to 1 part cream and 1 part butter or something similar.
Careful though, they're so nice even my non-smoking GF ended up wasted because she couldn't resist nibbling on them. I only used an oz of bushweed for lots of small truffles but they were surprisingly strong.

I never found firecrackers to really be worth it. I would say make some butter, it's increadably easy and I honestly can't think of a time I have heard of anyone messing it up. Here is the first thing that came up when I googled "weed butter," I looked through it and it seemed good as any. http://www.420magazine.com/forums/cannabis-edibles/37701-cannabutter-7-easy-steps.html But feel free to look it up for yourself and find your own recipe. There are tons on the internet and they all result more or less in the same thing. Once you have the butter, just us it as you would butter any time you normally would, endless possibilities!
