I don't have a setup. I just want to know as much as possible to reduce the chances of fucking up... not that I would ever consider growing mushrooms. A friend might want to grow some and I think she would use The Shroom Wizards Guide and just a standard cooler.

I am very sorry, I did not mean to point any fingers, that is why I worded my last post the way I did.
I have heard that the shroom wizards tek works rather well, and it is very easy. As far as temp. standard room temp. ( 65 - 75 degrees ) is a very good temp. range for the PF strain. Just don't let them get over 95 degrees. A possible idea is to tell your friend to use a heating pad on low to keep a more constant temp.

Just a few ideas, I hope things work out for her.

She lives in Oregon where the temp is 65-75, and NEVER gets above 85 in summer. Damn pacific climate... She is going to grow B+ and Golden Teacher from Psilocyber (http://www.shroomdepot.com/index.html) using SW tek, but casing half the cakes in the cooler with perlite to see which works better.

Well I hope everything works out for her. My buddy used the PF ultra-sonic humidifier tek for his first cakes and got some great mushrooms off of those I heard. Now he said he is using the shroom wizards tek and they are going good and still in progress.
